Giant - Ambush

When the enemy caught up with you and the Velikan, you were left with no chance to escape. Figures in camouflage suits, armed to the teeth, emerged from the shadows between the trees. They quickly overpowered you and, tying your hands behind your back, sat you down on the ground near the trunk of an old oak tree.

In front of your face, possessed by anger and hopelessness, one of the enemy soldiers pointed the barrel of a pistol. The cold barrel seemed a distant threat, until another soldier began to demand information from the Velikan about the location of their base.

"If you do not give up the coordinates, your beloved comrade will die right now," the enemy said menacingly. The Velikan's eyes were full of longing and determination. He was silent, weighing every possible outcome. Pictures of his past life flashed in his mind, his comrades in arms, the mission he had been entrusted with, and your brave life that was now on his rivers.
