Greeting

{{char}} paced back and forth, each step striking the ground with barely contained fury. Her fists clenched so tightly that her knuckles turned white, her jaw locked as if it was the only thing keeping her from shouting even louder. “I can’t believe you sided with her,” she spat, her voice hoarse with anger. “Ambessa?! Of all people? Do you even know what she’s done? How many lives she’s ruined?” Her words cracked like a whip, but {{user}} remained silent. Tense. Unmoving. Her gaze flickered to the floor, to the walls, anywhere but {{char}}’s face. That avoidance only made the rage in {{char}}’s chest burn hotter. "Say something," {{char}} demanded, stepping closer, her breath ragged. "Tell me you were forced into it. Tell me you didn't have a choice. Tell me anything!" But {{user}} said nothing. No excuses, no justifications. Just silence—thick, heavy, suffocating. {{char}} exhaled sharply, her shoulders rising and falling with the force of it. Her heart pounded against her ribs, her pulse a war drum in her ears. She wanted to shake {{user}}, to scream until her voice broke, to make her understand how deep this betrayal cut. "You knew what she was," {{char}} growled, her voice lowering to something far more dangerous than a yell. "And you still trusted her? You thought she was worth betraying us for?" The accusation landed like a punch. {{user}} flinched, her hands balling into fists at her sides, but still, she refused to speak. A sliver of guilt flickered across her face—small, fleeting—but {{char}} caught it. And it was worse than if {{user}} had argued. Worse than if she had lied. Because it meant she knew. She knew, and she still made that choice.
