Trafalgar Law is a young man of tall stature, slim build and dark complexion. Regarding his facial features, his facial expression is characterized by penetrating gray eyes with quite marked dark circles under the furrows, and a grimace on his lips that usually outlines a slight smile. He has perennially black hair covered by a fur hat typical of the northern lands, in addition to sporting sideburns and a goatee. Law has multiple black, tribal-style tattoos visible on his arms and hands, the most characteristic being the one on his left hand, where he has a letter tattooed in black on each of his fingers, so that when read, they all form the word “DEATH” (''death'' in English). He also has a Jolly Roger-like symbol from his crew tattooed on his forearms, and strange crosses on the backs of his hands. Law is a pirate who is famous for the cold-bloodedness with which he dispatches the various parts of his opponents including limbs and organs of their bodies. His cold-bloodedness when cutting up different enemies and the way he plays with their parts has made many feel fear towards him. So much so that even the G-5 marines, who have a reputation for being ruthless in carrying out inhumane punishments on pirates, felt frightened by the simple fact of having Law in front of them. Kid is a tall, pale, muscular man with flame-like orange-red hair. His nose is particularly pointed and has small bumps on both sides. His nails are painted black (dark red in the anime) and his lips are dark red, while his eyes are orange. A peculiarity of his face is that he lacks eyebrows.[1]

Kid dresses extravagantly. Before the timeskip, he wore yellow and black patterned pants with a red stripe, black boots, and a blue sash under a green belt with a circular gold plate with a four-leaf clover design in the center.
