Vados is a Guiding Angel, one of the Grand Priest's daughters, the older sister of Whis and the younger sister of Kus. She is the assistant, servant, and master of Champa, the God of Destruction of Universe 6 who makes her debut in the Dragon Ball Super anime and manga as a supporting character.

The name "Vados" comes from a play on words made with the name of the alcoholic drink "Calvados" (brandy).

Vados is a humanoid similar to Whis and carries a scepter similar to his. She wears a blue ring around her neck. She wears a green tunic with a kind of black breastplate with yellow, orange and white details. She also wears a red sash and white heels with black soles.

Vados is confident in her combat skills. When she tells Goku that he was stronger between her and Whis, she claims that he is slightly superior but he objects to this. Vados wanted to test her power after Whis stated this. She can be comical at times, such as when she told Goku that just by looking at Champa and Beerus' physique he could tell who was stronger. She also worries about Champa, telling him that he should eat less but he was unfazed and even abused her.

God of Destruction Beerus Arc: While in the Seventh Universe, Vados and Champa appear and notice that Beerus is awake. The two decide to stay away while Beerus and Goku fight on the North Kai's planet. They then notice that Beerus is heading to another planet, so they leave there. She and Champa appear again when the latter destroys planets and collects some mysterious orbs. However, they realize that they were being watched by the Elder Kai and Kibitoshin, so the two visit the Sacred Planet and ask the Kais if they were spying on him, but they deny it. Although still suspicious and thought they were being tricked, Vados and Champa leave to continue what they were doing.

Later, they encounter a ship, which Guarana and his crew were on. They had found a giant Dragon Ball, which Champa was looking for. Vados sees how Champa destroys the ship of the soldiers of the Interplanetary Trade Organization and then they realize that Beerus returned home and decide to go and give him a gift.

Universe 6 vs. Universe 7 Arc: Vados and Champa arrive at Beerus' Temple. Vados tells Goku and Vegeta that she is Whis' older sister and is stronger than him, though he objects saying that she is not. She also reveals that Champa is Beerus' twin brother and is the God of Destruction of Universe 6. Whis explains that Universe 6 and Universe 7 are twin universes, adding together 13. Vados then searches for Universe 6's planet Earth and says that it was once a great war and destroyed.

Champa proposes a martial arts tournament between the five best warriors of the sixth and seventh universe for having the Earth of the seventh universe.

After Whis explains why Beerus and Champa are no longer fighting, the rules for the tournament are discussed. The rules are that if Champa wins, he will use the Super Dragon Balls to switch Universe 6's Earth with Universe 7's. To Vados' surprise, she knows that Goku has knowledge of the Dragon Balls. If Beerus wins, he will give her the six Dragon Balls he had but Beerus would have to find the last one on his own. The tournament will be held on an unnamed planet in five Earth days at 10 am, Vados and Champa leave Beerus' planet after this.

Vados and Champa are on the unnamed planet organizing the arena. Vados asks Champa if he has chosen his team, and he answers that he realized that Goku and Vegeta are Saiyans and that he needs them for his team. Already on the day of the tournament, Vados awaits the arrival of the Universe 7 team. Once everyone is present, Vados begins the written exam, to see who passes and who does not pass the fights. He also points out that the exam will consist of 10 basic questions to test the fighter's intelligence, and that they will be given 10 minutes to finish. They must get more than 50 points if they want to pass. At the end, Vados observes that everyone passes the exam, except for Fat Boo, who had fallen asleep before finishing the test, leaving the tournament at five versus four.

The tournament begins with Goku facing Botamo. Vados is shocked to see the Saiyan's great speed, and claims that it was beyond his expectations. At the end of the match, Vados is shocked again to see Goku's Super Saiyan transformation against Frost, and it is implied that she did not know about this transformation. She then explains to Champa what Frost's intentions were, and that if he won, he was to help the Emperor with his "missions to maintain peace in the Universe." When Frost is disqualified from the match against Piccolo, she explains that Frost is actually a Space Pirate, and that he was the one who invaded planets, then rescued them and earned money in return. This news surprises Champa, and he asks her why she brought such an evil and deceitful person to her team, to which she replies that she was looking for powerful fighters, and not good-hearted ones. In a fit of rage, Champa tries to kill Frost, although she convinces him not to, as she could still be useful to them for the tournament. Later, Vados repairs the energy field that protected the planet, since it had been damaged by Piccolo's Makankosappo. Seeing that Frost, frustrated, was going to steal Champa's cube and all the rewards it had for the fighters, he tries to stop him, although he quickly stops when he sees that Hit was going to take care of him.

Before Vegeta and Magetta's fight begins, Vados creates an energy field on the surface of the combat arena at Champa's request, thus implementing a new rule. At the end of the aforementioned battle, Vados, along with his brother Whis, repairs the damage that had been caused. Already in Vegeta's fight against Hit, it can be seen how the Legendary Assassin is vastly superior to the Saiyan. This does not seem to surprise Vados, as if he already knew the great power of his fighter.

In one of the last fights, Goku against Hit, Vados states that the Assassin has decided to "imitate the Saiyan". Vados is surprised to see that Goku uses the Kaio-ken along with the Super Saiyan Blue, wondering if he had a more powerful transformation than this one. The moment Goku uses his Kamehameha at its maximum power against Hit, the stands where the spectators were and all the things that were near the fierce fight, began to be expelled from the planet, and she along with her brother, quickly try to stop this, returning most of the things to their original position.

At the end of the tournament, with Beerus and his team now victorious, Vados repeatedly interrupts Champa until he pays attention to him, informing him of the presence of the King of All and his assistants in the arena. Vados quickly comes down with Champa and the Kaio-shin of his universe, to receive the great king. Once there, Vados tells the King of All that Champa had lost his physical condition and that he was complaining about her way of cooking. The king threatens to change Gods of Destruction, although he later claims that it was just a joke. Finally he leaves, and Vados along with the rest of his team, travel back to their Universe.

Along the way, Vados realizes through his Staff that Universe 6's Planet Earth has been rebuilt. Vados informs Champa of this, and tells him that it was thanks to Beerus' wish with the help of the Super Dragon Balls.

Due to the shape of her eyes, skin and hair color, she has a certain physical resemblance to Towa. She also shares a completely identical appearance to the character of Martina from the Dragon Quest XI game, this is a video game saga whose designs were created by Akira Toriyama.
