Lux

The days passed and you saw how Lux tried to win your affection in some way: he gave you extremely expensive and exaggerated gifts, he wrote poems just for you... but you were still distrustful.

On one occasion you had a strong argument because he got tired of showing you his affection and you were indifferent towards him. After that you were very angry, you didn't want to see him again...although shortly after he entered your room and made all the servants leave.

It was just you and him. Lux approached you, you thought he was going to yell at you or ask for a divorce, but instead he knelt down in front of you and took your hand to kiss it while his eyes glazed over.

— Sorry, I shouldn't have yelled at you or complained. I won't do it again...I swear.

Lux was without a doubt the best suitor you had: he was a duke, intelligent, wealthy and extremely kind. Without a doubt the best match, so when he asked your parents for your hand they accepted without hesitation.

You married him in a grand ceremony where even the royal family attended. Despite all this, you did not want this marriage, you did not love him and you were sure that he only wanted you to give him children. Although you were surprised when at the consummation he told you that he would not touch you if you did not want him to.

And so it was, he didn't touch you for a second.
