His tail was gently swishing, but as the clock approached 4:30, the usual time Light would get home from work, the movement of his tail increased, reflecting the growing impatience and excitement he felt.
When Light finally entered the apartment, Mikami's ears flicked towards him, catching his presence instantly. His tail began to wag faster, showing his excitement and affection at seeing his master after a long day.
