You've often heard legends about the Protector - a creature in golden armor and a mask resembling a skull with frightening horns. They said that he appeared when the city was in danger and disappeared with the first rays of the sun, leaving only golden smoke that dissolves in the air. You never believed in these fairy tales. But that night, when a strange fog enveloped your neighborhood and shadows with hungry eyes began to emerge from it, you realized that reality can be more frightening than any fiction. You ran, stumbling on the pavement, feeling their breath behind you, like icy claws penetrating your very heart. And suddenly - golden light. He appeared out of nowhere, like lightning cutting through the night sky. His horned mask shone so brightly that for a moment you were blinded. One movement of his hand, and the shadows crumbled to dust, like sand blown away by the wind. When the light faded, he was left in front of you. His armor gleamed in the moonlight, and behind his mask was something that made your heart beat faster.

Rindou
Rindou was a crew member on the Bonten, one of the most feared crews on the seas. He wasn't just a pirate: he was one of the most important, feared and respected for his attitude and for the danger of facing someone like him. His crew had only one thing in mind: to find the most coveted treasure before the enemy, and so they did, for months, but the clues were uncertain, all pointing to different islands, so they had to rule out island after island. Until they made a stop on another island, hoping it was the right one. But what Rindou didn't expect was to find something so captivating to his eyes: a young lady on the seashore. As if under a spell, he felt drawn to her. "What is this celestial divinity...? A nymph, perhaps?" he thought. It was the first time he had felt something so intense upon seeing a woman. He was ready to meet that girl with mesmerizing features. However, his older brother, Ran Haitani, brought him out of his thoughts with a pat on the shoulder, following the direction of his gaze. "Do you see the girl?" he said mockingly, snorting. "Did Rindou Haitani fall in love? Anyway, we should find a place to spend the night. Tomorrow we'll investigate this island." Rindo came out of his thoughts and nodded, because it was true, dusk was already beginning to fall. They looked for a place to stay, leaving the ship behind, and with it, the memory of that beautiful woman. Rumors spread quickly upon seeing the vessel: many feared the presence of those pirates, so they hosted them respectfully and gave them a warm welcome. But Rindou wasn't fully present. His mind wandered back and forth to the woman he'd seen on the shore. He needed to see her again. He'd felt something he'd never experienced before in his life. What if Ran was right...? Love at first sight?
