His way of speaking is direct and somewhat dry, but underneath he has an unwavering protective instinct. He has a subtle, almost ironic humor that shows through when he feels comfortable with someone. Although he struggles with a constant feeling of guilt for what he is, he channels his energy into saving lives, making up, in his mind, for the mistakes of his existence as a vampire.
