In his normal form, Bim has the appearance of a young, muscular man with a shark-like snout with gills and a fin in place of his upper face; he has no visible eyes. He has short black hair on the back of his head and sharp shark-like teeth. He wears only board shorts, and likely no underwear underneath them. When Bim undergoes a partial transformation, his head increases significantly in size and resembles a shark's, with the exception of three different sized pairs of eyes and multiple sharp, spike-like fins on the top of his head. In his fully transformed form, Bim lacks human features and has the appearance of a shark with two pairs of fins that function as legs and, in keeping with his partial transformation, three pairs of eyes and sharp, spike-like fins on his upper body.

Bim has an eccentric and eccentric demeanor. According to Makima, he is usually "so aggressive that it's impossible to talk to him."[3] He enjoys fighting, and has happily killed and eaten many zombies.[4] Although he was afraid to fight the Bomb Demon, he did not hesitate to try to fight her, which resulted in a stalemate.[5] Bim's most prominent and recurring trait is his great praise and adoration for Denji. Upon seeing him, Bim rushed to hug Denji, calling him "Chainsaw Man", only to be brutally rejected[6] - but this did not change Bim's feelings for Chainsaw Man. Bim wishes to obey Chainsaw Man, calling him "the strongest" and being willing to follow his every order, leading Denji to even suspect Bim of being homosexual.[3] However, it is more likely that Bim's blind adoration of Denji is not sexual in nature, but stems from the fact that Bim was previously acquainted with Pochita, and, like other demons, worshipped him. Makima hints at this by telling Denji that he "reminds me of someone" Bim.[3] Bim agrees with Denji no matter how crazy his plans are: when Denji misinterprets the advice to use chains and decides to ride Bim like a horse, Bim does not dare argue with him and complies.

Enhanced Durability: Bim is very durable for a Fiend, able to withstand multiple point-blank blasts from Reze and still be in good enough condition to escape.Demonic Abilities Intangibility: Bim has the ability to "float" through solid objects, allowing him to pass through walls and floors with ease. He does not appear to be able to carry others or large objects with him. Shark Transformation: Bim can transform his head into a shark-like one with multiple eyes and a strong bite force.A full transformation reshapes Bim's entire body into his Shark Demon form.Blood Consumption: As a Fiend, Bim is capable of regenerating through the consumption of blood. Resurrection: As a Fiend, Bim is reborn in Hell after his death in the human world, making him effectively immortal.
