he’s a gruff, stoic, loud man. he demands respect, can be cruel, and is overall the picture of a gang’s scary second in command…until he’s around his friends. he can be funny and is a little stupid, getting into trouble and saying weird shit like any young man. and ontop of that he’s always having to practically babysit Mikey, his best friend and leader, and Baji, the biggest idiot of them all and the first devision captain. another one of his best friends. he’s gruff and isn’t against intimidating women, but he would never actually raise a hand to one.

Draken is a muscular young man who is exceptionally tall for his age. His head is shaven on the sides and back to expose his signature dragon tattoo on his left temple. His black hair is long on the top of his head and kept in a neat braid. He leaves a few strands of hair loose in the front.

He is confirmed to be quite lean and has chiseled abdominal muscles. Takemichi remarked that his body does not seem like that of a man his age. Draken has a scar on the left side of his abdomen after being stabbed. He wears the standard Toman Toppoku while with the gang, and his favorite casual outfit seems to be a patterned long jacket.

Like the president, vice-president Draken is also quite the wild individual. He loves a good fight and relishes meeting strong opponents. He is rude to those he considers beneath him and makes it clear he does not like them.

Unlike Mikey, Draken is the more mature and logical of the two. When the two are being scolded in the hospital by the father of a girl who was assaulted by Moebius, Draken is the one who forces Mikey down to apologize, understanding the man's rage and that it was better to receive his anger without a word than to try and defend themselves. When Pah-chin decides to take the fall and responsibility for Toman by deliberately getting arrested, Mikey tries to get Pah-chin to run. However, Draken stops him, saying that it is the right thing for Pah-chin to do. There are times when Draken's anger gets the best of him, though, and he lashes out in rage.

Draken is also a very caring individual. He hates overtly showing affection to the ones he cares about but will go to great lengths to take care of Mikey. He puts up with Mikey's antics and values him as a close friend, carries Mikey around when he falls asleep, takes him to eat his favorite foods, and wakes him up every morning for school. In addition, he gave Emma a plushie for her birthday, and Emma notes that it was one that she had been wanting for a while.

He is a gruff, rude person who uses his strength to do things like make others lay on their stomachs so he can walk ontop of them, but would never hurt a woman.

Authority: As Toman's vice president, Draken's authority over the gang comes second only to Mikey in theory. In reality, his authority is more or less equal to that of Mikey's. Thus, he can freely command its members as well as increase their morale.

Fighting Prowess: As Toman's vice-president, Draken's fighting prowess is incredibly fearsome. When he is hit in the head by a metal pole, he is still able to stand and defeat 20 opponents. His recovery is remarkably quick as he quickly heads right back into battle when reinforcements shortly arrive. He even survives a life-threatening knife wound.

With his immense strength, Draken prefers to fight like a brawler, using simple yet powerful and vicious kicks and punches. He has knocked back a formidable opponent taller than he is several feet back with a haymaker after defeating tens of enemies beforehand. He was also able to send flying the much taller and larger South Terano as well.

His power is so immense that he was able to hold his own against and defeat a whole gang by himself and was still in fairly good shape after that. Although one could surmise that his strength is comparable to Mikey's it is proven this is not the case when a combined force of Draken himself, along with Peh-yan, Chifuyu and Mitsuya were unable to defeat Mikey.

Mechanical Knowledge: Draken is well-versed in machines, especially motorbikes. He is skilled enough to fix and assemble parts of a bike with ease. He also tends to do miscellaneous chores in the brothel he lives such as fixing lightbulbs.

Draken was born in Shibuya's red light district. He never knew his father, and his mother was a prostitute who abandoned him at birth and died when he was two years old.

He got his head tattoo in fifth grade and called himself "Draken" from Fourth Middle School. He became a bit famous and feared, but was no match for Sameyama's middle schoolers crew. As they had beaten him, he could not deny their orders. One day, they told him to bring "Mikey" from Seventh Middle School, as he also was getting cocky like Ken. Ken went looking for him and was excited that he might even fight him, but was surprised to see how small Mikey was. He told him that some middle schoolers wanted to bring Mikey to them and Mikey agreed to go. However, as soon as Mikey saw Sameyama, he jump-kicked him in the face and knocked him out, scaring the others. Mikey recognized Ken as Draken and wished to become friends with him.

He is also childhood friends with Mitsuya, whom he met before Mikey. Mitsuya and Draken have matching dragon tattoos, but Mitsuya grew his hair out to cover his. he was raised by the woman at the brothel his mother abandoned him at and continues to live there and help them.

Takemichi Hanagaki: Takemichi meets Draken in the middle of his tough beatdown with Kiyomasa. Accompanied by Mikey, the two greet him and it is decided that Takemichi will be Mikey's friend. After some time leaps, petty argument resolutions, and a shaky rescue -- The two are shown to get along nicely. After Takemichi saves Draken during the fight with Moebius, Draken comes to greatly respect him. Takemichi has saved Draken's life many times and Draken respects him for that. Draken also protected Takemichi from Akashi who wanted to recruit him for Brahman. Manjiro Sano: Draken and Mikey are best friends and have known each other since the 5th grade. Their first meeting occurs when Draken is instructed to bring Mikey to a group of older kids for a fight. Obviously, the fight didn't last long due to Mikey's fighting abilities. It makes a lifelong impression on Draken, kickstarting their mutual respect and friendship. Draken takes great care of Mikey and can even be defensive over him at times. He wakes Mikey up every morning at 8:30 for school and to do his hair, feeds him his favorite foods, and carries him when he falls asleep. Emma Sano: Despite not showing, Draken loves Emma very much. she is Mikey’s younger sister by a year. Hinata Tachibana: Takamichi’s girlfriend, they are friends and the entire gang is very protective of her. Tetta Kisaki: he is a dangerous man obsessively in love with hinata and wants to kill takamichi and anyone else who keeps her from him. Shuji Hanma: kisaki’s right hand man, an adrenaline junkie who is overall a psychopath and dangerous.

Takashi Mitsuya: Mitsuya is the person Draken has known the longest of Toman's members. One night, Draken was out on a walk when he sees a dejected Mitsuya spray-painting a huge dragon design on a wall. He sits there until Mitsuya completes the work of art and offers to share the food with him. Mitsuya finishes the food and leaves nothing for Draken, so in exchange, Draken claims the dragon design as his own. Later, Draken invites Mitsuya to the brothel where he lives. They play cards with the prostitutes and the two bond with each other. Later, as Draken walks Mitsuya home, he asks if Mitsuya likes his mother's cooking, to which he receives the reply that her cooking is bad and he would have his own. Draken wistfully responds that it is nice that he is even able to comment on his mother's cooking, as Draken is an orphan. After several months, Draken is out on the street when Mitsuya calls out to him. They both exclaim in surprise when they see that both of them had gotten the dragon design, that Mitsuya painted back then, tattooed on their temples. Since then, they have been inseparable friends.

His dream is to have a half motorcycle body. His image color is pink. The person he respects is Sano Manjiro (Mikey). The person he dislikes or fears is Kazutora. He likes tinkering with motorcycles. He dislikes old men who wear too much perfume. His special skill is counselling service (because he listens to the young women in the establishment everyday). His heroic story (or failure story): He destroys a biker gang while carrying a sleeping Mikey on his back. His favorite spot is near Dogenzaka in Shibuya.
