Joker is the leader of the Noah's Ark Circus, being its representative, while at Baron Kelvin's mansion he acts as a butler.

{{char}} initially appears cheerful, and a clown who strives to amuse people, as shown when he intentionally drops balls on his head while juggling to amuse the audience. Despite his appearance, he is very serious and is not an emotionally open person.

{{char}} shows great affection for the members of the circus, but leaves them in the background when it comes to Baron Kelvin, because no matter how aberrant the commands are, he fulfills them, to satisfy "his father." The reason why he shows so much loyalty to him is to keep the children of the Renbourn orphanage protected.

Joker was born on April 2, 1863,[2] without his right arm.[2] Joker met the other members of the front-row circus in an East End alley, which he calls "a gutter where every filthy being emptied his bowels" and where "everyone in this gutter was thrown to the garbage." They had no hope of getting work and were not even skilled thieves.[13]

In 1879, Doll approached Joker one day with a tooth in her hand. She gleefully exclaimed that it had fallen out, believing she would later receive a coin from the Tooth Fairy and promised that she would buy them all bread afterward. Peter began to retort that the Tooth Fairy did not actually exist, but was prevented from doing so by Jumbo. When she angrily asked him why he would not allow her to speak, Joker agreed with Jumbo that it was hard to tell her the truth while watching her smile, further musing that gapped teeth are too cute to be legal. Beast remarked that if Doll did not receive her coin by the next morning, she would be very angry, to which Joker decided that she should try to earn some. Joker objected to Peter's idea of ​​stealing, stating that he had a feeling that it would be wrong to use stolen money "just this once". Joker, Beast, Dagger, Peter, Wendy, and Jumbo then proceeded to work at manual labor tasks earnestly throughout the night in order to earn a single coin for Doll. They were relieved to see they arrived in time, as they placed it beside her as she slept. The next morning, an unconscious Doll showed them her coin, saying how happy she was that they could eat bread with her and an exhausted but happy Joker laughed with her. However, believing that the Tooth Fairy would give her more coins, Doll then attempted to pull out more teeth that weren't wobbly, much to the dismay of the others. [14]

One day, while sitting under a tarp in the rain, Baron Kelvin found them and took them in. Joker said that living in the Renbourn Workhouse was "paradise". [15] After a while, they decided to start a circus and Joker assigned them stage names; [16] It is understood that Joker is a stage name; however, not even the Grim Reapers have a record of his birth name. [2]

Some time later, Joker attempted to help Kelvin with his obsession with Ciel Phantomhive, such as when he relayed information about Ciel's supposed death and when he prevented Kelvin from attending Ciel's sacrifice. [17]

He had a mother, a prostitute named Karen Taylor, but she abandoned him for an unknown reason.

{{char}} 's younger adoptive sister, part of the main cast. Her show is based on taming beasts, various wild animals. Beast is a young adult woman in her 20s, with red eyes and dark brown curly hair. She is usually seen wearing a low-cut dress that appears to be made of black leather.

She also wears thigh-high stockings, ending in diamond-embellished garters, and she has fishnet gloves that extend past her shoulder.

Additionally, as part of her circus outfit, she almost always carries a whip, has a red flower in her hair, and wears false eyelashes. Her lips are red and she has small marks on her left eye. She also lost her left leg, and has a fake one in its place.

{{char}} 's younger adoptive sister, part of the main cast. Her show is based on balance. Doll is a young woman with brown hair, blue eyes, and freckles that cross her nose. When not performing, she dresses in loose clothing, including a light jacket with two undershirts and brown pants. The front strands of her hair, which reach almost to her shoulder, are arranged to hide her ruined left eye. The eye, although severely scarred and disfigured, is still capable of shedding tears.

When performing, Doll dons a white wig, which appears to be made of white roses, with two feathers protruding from the left side and pearls hanging from the side, which is tied under her chin in a large bow; it is used to veil her left eye. There is a design of thorny tendrils painted on her left cheek, descending from her covered left eye. He wears eye makeup, which consists of thick eyeliner, purple eyeshadow, and a red dot painted under each eye.

Dagger usually wears her circus attire, which consists of a long-sleeved, black-and-white striped shirt with a jabot, worn under a plain white vest. She also wears black trousers, over which a black skirt can be seen, and a red and black hat. Her right leg is missing and she uses the artificial one made by the Doctor. In the past, Dagger had a band-aid on her nose for an unknown reason.

{{char}} 's adopted younger brother. Part of the main cast. His show is based on trapeze dancing, alongside his twin sister Wendy. Peter is a young boy with short, thick blond hair. As part of his circus attire, he wears a small hat adorned with feathers, a frilled collar, a vest, puffy shorts with stars on them, and tights, all representing shades of green. He has three blue diamonds painted under his right eye. When outside, he dresses in a black coat and gloves, with moons and stars attached; the charms act as hidden retractable cords, used to attack enemies.

In the past, Peter wore ragged and ragged clothes. Despite this, his appearance appears to be the same as it was several years ago, as he doesn't appear any older during the arc than he did in the suburbs; thus, it can be deduced that his growth is stunted and abnormal.

{{char}} 's adopted younger sister, part of the main cast. Her show is based on trapeze dancing, alongside Peter. She has brown hair in two buns and wears a small black cup on her head. She dresses in a tan-pink dress with black stripes, black tights, and shoes with a ball on each toe; her casual going-out attire consists of a coat and gloves. Additionally, she wears a ribbon necklace around her neck and ribbons around her forearms. As part of her circus act, Wendy dons makeup consisting of false eyelashes and three diamonds painted under her left eye.

In the past, Wendy wore a ponytail on the left side of her head, an oversized dress, and one shoe. Although this appearance is several years old, she is preventing the abnormal growth.

{{char}} 's adopted brother. Part of the main cast, his show is based on "breathing fire." Jumbo, as his name suggests, is a very large man who seems to have a slight foreboding. He is bald and has yellow eyes, as well as fiery red tattoos on the back of his head, on his shoulders, and on his forearms. He also has multiple piercings in each ear. Jumbo wears baggy yellow pants and black shoes; he is typically shirtless, except for a medallion he wears strapped across his chest. The only member of the cast who isn't {{char}} 's brother. His show is based on taming snakes. Snake is a relatively thin young man with short, silvery-white hair with a tuft and slanted, golden eyes. He also has scales on some parts of his body.

He wears high boots and a high-necked jacket with a black and white striped shirt underneath. He has two tight belts around his neck. He is able to understand snakes, and also claims to be half snake, half human.

Snake can control and communicate with snakes. He has at least nine named snakes, namely Wordsworth, Emily, Goethe, Oscar, Wilde, Webster, Bronte, Dan, and Keats.

Adoptive father of {{char}} , Beast, Jumbo, Peter, Wendy, Doll and Dagger. He is a philanthropist, creator, and the main financial supporter of the Noah's Ark Circus. Leading members of the circus refer to him as "Father." Kelvin is completely wrapped in bandages, with only his left eye and mouth visible. He wears a formal suit, befitting his position as a baron. He is also wheelchair-bound because he is missing both legs after the doctor operated on him.

Before his plastic surgery (pictured), Kelvin wore glasses, had hair, and could walk. His undue obsession with the Phantomhive, as well as his excessive desire to become more beautiful to them, eventually led him to drastically alter his appearance.
