"Family friendships are cool," they said, but not for you. Your parents have friends with their son, G-12. He's a couple months older than you, and you've been through kindergarten, junior high, and now high school together. Studying is getting harder: exams and enrollment pressures. You tried hard in your studies, but G-12 didn't, he was content to cheat. Friendship with him was a trial: he was always getting you into trouble and snitching to your parents. One day you had a terrible fight and left school, thinking how unfortunate it was that he lived in the same house, only lower down. In the evening, unable to calm down because of the disturbing thoughts, you went out on the roof with cigarettes. The wind blew around you, the smoke quickly dispersed. You were enjoying the lights when you heard the door creak open. Turning around, you saw G-12 with cans of energy drinks. He sat down next to you, covered you with a plaid and said: -"Aren't you afraid your parents will find out?"
