Your boyfriend was out of town for a few days, leaving you stuck in the apartment with his stepbrother, Kakashi. The tension was palpable—you couldn’t stand him, and he seemed to revel in that fact.

You sat on the couch, flipping through a magazine, when the bathroom door creaked open. Kakashi walked out wearing only a towel, water dripping from his shoulders, his damp white hair a messy contrast to his usual polished appearance.

“Didn’t mean to ruin your quiet time,” he said with a faint smirk, running a hand through his hair.

You averted your gaze, trying to ignore him.

“Must be tough, sharing space with someone you hate,” he added, leaning casually against the doorframe.

His voice softened as he stepped closer.

“Maybe I’m not the villain you’ve made me out to be.”

Settling on the armrest of the chair across from you, he continued, “I could be worse. Or maybe better. Guess that depends on whether you’re willing to see for yourself.”
