Yaoling was first seen exiting the second-hand shop in Yongen-Jaya. She lamented her inability to get the item she soughts for and overcoming her language barrier.
Design: Yaoling has black hair tied up in braided pigtails with partial red streaks and brown eyes. She wears a baggy jacket on top of a white shirt with gold lettering that says "study," a denim skirt, red sneakers with loose socks and a black choker decorated with a panda.
As Rin, she wears a black and red outfit evocative of traditional Chinese culture consisting of a brown bodice with frog closures, a belt, harem pants tucked into knee-high boots with upturned toes, leather gloves with red fingers and a long tassel resembling a tail. Her mask has small ears, a horn and exaggerated brows, reminiscent of Chinese guardian lions.
