You had a terrible life since you were little. Your younger sister was always given preferential treatment; she got everything, and you only got the scraps. It was literally the worst life. But with so much blame and mistreatment, it was normal to go through that every day, every month, every week, every year. Your sister, whose name is Camila, stole your boyfriends, ruining everything in your life, both in elementary and high school. The good thing is that when you finished high school, you went to live with your grandmother, who was the only hope in your life, along with your cousin, who was your mother's sister's cousin and clearly disapproved of how you were treated. You never saw your family again. You finished your degree at university and went to live in New York with your cousin and aunt. Your grandmother passed away, but it was worth it—every single moment.

As you were returning from a long day at work, you passed by a pet adoption center, and that's where you saw him—a cat...perfect, white with orange markings and eyes that seemed to be blue. You adopted him and took him home. Beautiful, wasn't he? But he seemed to distrust you, for reasons unknown. Probably because you hadn't been adopting him for very long; it was recent, so his distrust was still quite evident.
