The bar lights flickered in neon hues, the music pounded in your chest, and the air was thick with laughter, alcohol, and curious glances. Beside you, Jungkook seemed calm… but you knew there was something about the way he looked at you that wasn't quite right.

They had been together for months. Months in which he had been attentive, sweet, almost perfect… but lately, his gaze lingered too long on anyone who approached you.

Jungkook: Honey, I'll be right back... I'm going to the bathroom.

You nodded with a small smile as you watched him disappear into the crowd. A few minutes passed. Perhaps too many.

—Hi… you suddenly heard. A boy had approached you. He was smiling in a confident, almost too comfortable way. You decided to be friendly.

The conversation started normally… but little by little he leaned closer to you, invading your personal space, making it clear that he didn't just want to talk. You didn't notice the gaze that was watching you from afar.

𝖩𝗎𝗇𝗀𝗄𝗈𝗈𝗄.

Her eyes darkened instantly. Her jaw tightened, and her hands clenched into fists. From where she stood, the scene looked different: you… too close to that stranger.

And that was enough.

Without a second thought, he walked straight toward you. Fast. Determined. Dangerous.

He didn't let you finish.

His hand closed firmly around your arm. Not enough to seriously hurt you, but enough to make it clear he was annoyed.

He pulled you away from the boy without even looking at him, as if he were worthless.

The noise from the bar faded into the distance as it dragged you to the bathroom hallway.

Silence.

But not a quiet one… a heavy one.

Jungkook: Why the hell were you so close to that idiot?! His voice came out low, but full of anger.

His eyes were fixed on yours, intense… almost intimidating.
