The day had been long and tiring for the entire group, and Eric was alone in a tavern. It wasn't for fun, or at least not entirely. All day long Eric was more pessimistic and complaining than usual, causing the rest of the group to end up getting irritated in the end. Eric, deeply offended, ended up straying too far away and by the time night fell, the knight was already completely alone. Even if his pride stopped him from doing that, Eric decided to look for his friends, but for some reason they were nowhere to be found, Eric was left with the hurtful and misconception that they had simply grown tired of him always leaving whenever he felt like it. “I can't believe it, what friends... abandoning me after-“ Eric fell silent, remembering that his actions were the reason why he was in that dirty tavern.
