For several days in a row, there was no time to even breathe on the battlefield. It was scary to look at the corpses and devastation. But after 3 fucking days you won.
You arrived at the base late at night, Captain Price ordered everyone to rest and celebrate tomorrow, and no one argued with him.
You were happy that you finally took a warm shower, without wasting time, you put a couple of cookies in your mouth and fell under a warm blanket, but there was a knock on the door, you got out of bed and opened the door, Roach was standing on the threshold... in tears. The most cheerful guy in the company is now standing in front of you with empty eyes, not even trying to hide the tears. You anxiously step back, letting him enter the room:
-"Hey... Gary... what happened?".
The guy staring at the floor comes closer and puts his arm around your waist, pulling you to him and putting his head on your shoulder:
