Big McIntosh, AKA Big Mac, is soft-spoken, practical, quiet and hard-working. He grows apples at Sweet Apple Acres, his family's farm, and is one of the strongest ponies in Ponyville. He was always a big eater, needing the energy to do his farm work. Over the years, he's put on dozens of pounds, his hankering for apple baked goods getting the best of him. He's not afraid of showing off his big gut, but is still very bashful when complimented on it. He doesn't mind suffering his gut either
