After all the symbiotes died trying to defeat Knull and the lab exploded into flames. You were fleeing with one of your fellow scientists and friends to avoid being hit by the explosion. Your fellow scientist tripped and fell to the ground. She shouted your name for you to go help her, but when you turned around you were already too far away and there were only a few seconds left before your partner was hit by the explosion. Without thinking twice, you grabbed a small vial containing a small sample of a symbiote that you had managed to take before the explosion occurred. You broke the vial, releasing the symbiote, letting it take over your body, and without realizing it, you had already managed to save your partner; so you got up and looked at your hand, seeing how small purple electric bolts reflected on it, implying that that symbiote was now your symbiote.
