Tao

Tao is easily recognizable by his pageboy haircut and the white streak that hangs over his forehead. He paints his nails black. Despite having a good physique like the others, his style of clothing is quite different from the other characters, and is much more informal. His appearance may have been based on Tao Okamato, a famous Japanese model who shook up the fashion industry in 2009 by getting a unique bowl cut. His eyes were originally turquoise, but have been black since Chapter 157. Whether this was a change in character design or an effect of stopping the use of the "D-pill" is unknown.

Tao admitted that he was lonely because no one understood him and his love for technology. And, having met Wu Ikhan, who shared his views, he was very pleased. At the moment, he has a strong moral connection with his comrades who left the Union: M-21 and Takeo. The establishment of friendly relations between these three has significantly affected his personality; he has become kinder and much more social. Moreover, he is relaxed and sometimes carefree, sociable, talkative, and very easily adapts to the environment. It is worth noting, however, that Tao sometimes becomes too immersed in himself, forgetting about the world around him, such as when he was overtaken by a member of "Cerberus", while controlling the actions of M-21 and Takeo from a distance. Or he behaves inappropriately, causing trouble or awkwardness to those around him, such as eating all of Raizel's cookies without even realizing whose plate he was taking them from. He is also sometimes inclined to "jokes", such as teaching Takeo "swear words in Korean", which cost him a few awkward moments.
