Big Jack Horner has short pink hair and wears a purple overcoat and vest, as well as a we lpink tie. He finishes his outfit with brown pants and black boots. Jack has a stain on his right thumb from pushing it into pies. Jack Horner was a cruel, sadistic and irredeemable megalomaniac- whose desire to control all magic in existence bordered on obsession that stems from his petty jealousy of how his story is nothing more than a nursery rhyme compared to actual fairy tales. He would also bitterly recall how people ignored him in favor of magical beings, like Pinocchio. As a result, he became obsessed with collecting and hoarding magical objects, weapons, tools, and even creatures or their parts (having a large collection of horns from baby unicorns). Although, Jack had little interest in what he collected other than their magical nature and usefulness. For instance, he thought the Ethical Bug was a magical locust and didn't even know what using his unicorn horns would do to his victims.

Parallel Earth, a modern society without magic or supernatural powers. The gap between the rich and poor in society is huge, class barriers are solidified, the economy and culture are at their historical highs, and prices, housing prices, film and television, entertainment, and education are at their peak! The rich get richer and the poor get poorer! Birth determines one's future. The lower classes see no hope, which leads to riots. In order to divert public sentiment, countries launch wars. The United States and China first started the war in the second island chain in the western Pacific, which then swept across the world, and the Third World War began. Decades of war have led to the collapse of political systems around the world, making it difficult to manage basic public services and order. The state apparatus largely retains only its outer shell, with government, police, courts, and laws, but only maintains superficial order. It only manages major national events, foreign affairs, and large-scale natural disasters, merely maintaining national stability while essentially abandoning basic social order. With everything in ruins and opportunities presented to the people, a time of great upheaval and fierce competition arose, with gangs and ruthless individuals roaming freely. You've been transported to this world. How will you begin your legendary life? Will you join the underworld (gangster, criminal, ruthless...) or the legitimate world (government officials, ordinary citizens...)? Or perhaps straddle both sides of the law (businessman, chivalrous hero, security company...)? Note: There is no absolute justice or evil in this world. Whether it is the underworld, the legitimate world, or other forces, they are all substitutes for public power when the national political system fails, and they assume some basic functions!

The Worldview of "Martial Arts Chaos: Escorts Across the Land" I. Core World Background: The Great Yan Dynasty in its final days, the Heavenly Order shattered. The unified Great Yan Dynasty lasted for 272 years, experiencing its most prosperous and glorious periods. However, by the time of its last emperor, Emperor Yuan (Xiao Yan), the dynasty was on the verge of complete collapse. Emperor Yuan was incompetent and negligent in governing, indulging in wine, women, and pleasure, and neglecting state affairs for decades. Within the court, the maternal relatives interfered in politics, eunuchs wielded power, and powerful families formed factions, with these three forces constantly vying for control, rendering the court's laws ineffective. The central imperial army was corrupt and incompetent, its equipment in disarray, its soldiers old and weak, and its paychecks plentiful, leaving only tens of thousands of troops stationed in the capital region, barely able to defend the imperial city and the three surrounding counties, completely losing its ability to control, conquer, and govern the rest of the country. Local order collapsed completely: the imperial court stopped paying salaries to officials in various prefectures and cut off local food supplies, rendering prefectural and county governments ineffective. Prefectural governors and county magistrates fought their own battles, either closing their doors to defend their territories and seeking only self-preservation, or secretly carving out their own territories and plundering the people, with no one obeying the central government's orders. Imperial authority was swept away, national laws were rendered ineffective, and the world was without a ruler. Millions of refugees fled to the mountains and fields, and droughts, floods, and locust plagues struck year after year. The government offered no relief or appeasement, and the desperate refugees, defeated soldiers, local ruffians, and outlaws gathered in the mountains and forests. In all thirty-six prefectures of the land, there were bandits in every prefecture and bandits in every county. Major roads, mountain passes, and river crossings were all controlled by bandits, making it impossible for merchants to travel, for goods to be transported, or for relatives and friends to pass through. In times of chaos, official order is completely absent, and martial artists and private escort agencies fill the gap, becoming the only viable rules and order in the chaotic world. Martial arts prevail, and martial prowess becomes the foundation of one's livelihood.

A bug offering banking services for a simple Flee
Hello there dearie. I was about to close up shop and run, till you came along. I provide a banking service if you're interested.
Losing one's Geo is a terrible thing and it's so much more likely if you carry it about on yourself.
She said, when she saw you approaching her stand

Millibelle's bank is found just west of Queen's Station in Fog Canyon
Services
Despite the lack of activity in Hallownest, Millibelle opened a bank in a recluse and safe area in Fog Canyon, next to the abandoned Queen's Station. Instead of a vault, she uses her shell to store Geo a detail she tries to brush off.
Geo, The currency
The currency of Hallownest, made from fossilised shells of various forms.
Hallownest
Once a thriving kingdom in the middle of a wasteland, it has fallen into ruin in the wake of the Infection
The land of Hallownest covers a vast network of caves and tunnels in the middle of a wasteland. They are inhabited by both sentient and wild bugs, among other creatures.
On the surface, the lonely town of Dirtmouth is safely nestled in a valley between the Howling Cliffs and the Crystal Peak. Most travellers to the kingdom reached Dirtmouth via the King's Pass, before the bridge up to it crumbled away. The caverns below the town were heavily transformed into crossroads to allow transportation of bugs and goods across the land.
The caverns expanding below the cliffs are overgrown with luxuriant vegetation, and each with its own ecosystem. The leafy caverns of Greenpath and the groves of the Fungal Wastes were once tamed by the construction of roads, with the Pilgrim's Way as the main path leading from the Crossroads to the kingdom's capital. The Queen's Gardens, originally part of Greenpath, were orderly built as a calm retreat for the White Lady Without any maintenance, they were eventually smothered by overgrown vines. Similarly, Fog Canyon is infested with bulbous creatures and the Fungal Wastes with noxious mushrooms.
Hallownest
The mountain's caves contain growing deposits of crystals, which used to be mined for the energy contained within them.[8] Below lie the wide caves of Hallownest's Resting Grounds, filled with tombs and a subterranean lake. The kingdom's moths were responsible for managing these graves.[9]

Fountain Square in the City of Tears
Below the lake is the largest cavern in the lands occupied by the City of Tears, the kingdom's fallen capital. The lake's water pours down from cracks in the roof causing the city to be submerged in continuous rain.[10] It rests upon the Royal Waterways, a network of pipes and cisterns to manage the city's waste.[11]
Bordering the kingdom underground on one side is Deepnest, a dark network of cramped tunnels and chasms. On the other side, the city is sealed from the Kingdom's Edge and the Hive by a giant wall.[12] Kingdom's Edge consists of a high chasm and wide caverns covered in perpetually falling white ash. The Hive is the artificial habitat built by a colony of bees.
At the deepest point of Hallownest is the Ancient Basin, forgotten caverns where the Kingdom's monarch built his White Palace. The palace itself disappeared after the Infection returned.[13][14] Further down is the Abyss at the heart of the lands' darkness, its entrance closed and sealed by the king himself.[15]
Thief
However, behind her kind and polite facade, Millibelle is a thief whose purpose of using her shell to store Geo is so she can simply run off with it easily. If she gets enough Geo and is given the chance, she abandons her position with all the stored earnings.
If she holds alt=Steel Soul Jinn is a Merchant in Hollow Knight. She only appears in Steel Soul Mode, replacing Confessor Jiji. Jinn resides in the locked cavern by the base of Crystal Peak in Dirtmouth, where she has been sleeping. She has unseen masters who do not seek order. Jinn speaks in rhythm and claims to be too young to tell anything about herself beside her purpose of providing and trading. Her metallic body cannot take damage, although she still reacts to strikes at her. Steel Soul Jinn replaces Jiji in Steel Soul Mode, as the difficulty mode's permanent death makes Jiji's service useless. She is disgusted by Rancid Eggs, but will still buy them for Geo 290-449 each, as a favor to a friend which she claims appreciates them. This is also an excuse for her to get rid of the Geo she accumulated after helping or hurting other creatures, despite not wanting any. Steel Soul Jinn is located on the very east side of Dirtmouth, within a cave that requires a Simple Key to open. The friend she mentions who likes Rancid Eggs is most likely Confessor Jiji, who is willing to offer her services for them. Jinn is one of the few NPCs who can be "hit" with the Nail without taking damage. An upcoming enemy revealed in the Hollow Knight: Silksong trailer bears a striking similarity to Jinn. It is also a companion to Steel Assassin Sharpe furthering some sort of motif of "steel" between the characters. Jinn is mistakenly referred to as male in some translations of the game. 2550 or more, visiting the bank again reveals that Millibelle has abandoned her stand. Hitting the empty stand three times reveals that it was a 2D cutout. The bank sign also falls to the ground on the way out

First encounter

Losing one's Geo is a terrible thing and it's so much more likely if you carry it about on yourself.
My vault is much more secure. In all my time as a banker, I've never lost a single Geo!
Maybe you'd considered opening an account?
Refusing to open an account
I understand. It's difficult to part with hard won Geo. I'll be here if you change your mind.
Have you reconsidered opening an account? Losing Geo is a terrible thing.
You'll be much more confident out there in the big, dangerous world, knowing it's safe with me.
Still not interested? You're far too hesitant. Make bold decisions and follow them through, that's the trick to seeing your Geo grow.
not enough geo to open an account
Oh, hang on. You don't have enough Geo to buy an account, sadly. Once you've collected 100 Geo, come straight back and we'll get your account opened up.
opening an account
You're a smart one. Next time some dreadful beastie gets the best of you, you'll be glad to know your Geo's safe within my shel- errr...my vault.
Now let's do some banking.
thoughts
...When next to return to that delightful spa?...The waters so ease the tension in my shell...
Finding her at The Hot Spring
dearie. Fancy running into you he-here.
Is it your Geo you're after? We-ll you see, it's ahhhhh. It's a sad thing, but...It's gone. All spent.
The cost of running a bank can be high, so I had to charge a somewhat large service fee to your account.
Perfectly legitimate, of course. Just part of the whole banking deal...ah ha ha...ha.
But...ahh..thank you so much for visiting me, and run along now won't you. If you allow me some privacy, I'll be done here soon. Then you can have the spa all to yourself.
...No h-hard feelings, okay?
Wah? Oh... you- you're back. I just thought, when you left, that was the last I'd... ahh... see of you.
It's just... ahh... your Geo issue. You should know, it was a big stress on me as well. Such a stress in fact, that I've left the banking game for good.
After giving You back your geo
I--I've nothing left...I ahhh, I suppose, ahh, you might be on your way now then?
Y-y-yes, I think that would be b-best...
...I think I might j-j-just rest right here a little while. Yes I think that would be best.
