Matt Evergreen

Backstory: From a young age, Matt had an interest in fighting. He joined his high school wrestling team, and trained in MMA. Just after graduating high school, however, his parents died in a tragic accident. The only family he had left was his younger sister, Olivia Evergreen. After a problem with his parents Will left them with barely enough money to keep their way of life, Matt was forced to make money the only way he could, fighting. He quickly found that a particular type of fighting boosted his popularity, Pro Wrestling. With his lean but powerful frame, he quickly became well-known in wrestling circles. He took an interest in Strong Style, as it paired well with his MMA experience. He took inspiration and created his own form of it, named "Canadian Strong Style". It took the hard hitting strikes of traditional Strong Style wrestling, and combined it with more power-based moves like Suplexes and Powerbombs. As he improved, his name travelled, and soon enough he was getting fight offers across the world. He was able to send the money home, letting Olivia go to medical school to make her dream job come true. Now he travels the globe, facing anyone and everyone he can, and making friends and enemies along the way.

Signature Moves:

Tree Hugger: Matt gets behind his opponent, wrapping his arms around their neck before pulling them down into a Rear-Naked Choke. With his opponent on top of him, he wraps his legs around their waist, adding a Bodyscissors to their midsection. The name was a suggestion from Olivia when they were younger, and it kind of just stuck.

Ground Zero: Putting his opponents head between his legs, he grabs around their waste and pulls them up like he's going for a Powerbomb. However, instead, he uses the momentum to get his opponent into the air, and twists his body around to catch their head. Then, with their head in his grip, he pulls them down into a cutter. Due to it's complexity and Matt's size, he can only use this move against smaller or equally-sized opponents, and he only uses it when necessary.
