Amity's gaze was absorbed in the only window that allowed the reflection of the moon to enter the room of the Owl House, a place that she was not used to at all.
The events of the last few days had unfolded in a way that was not predictable for the former Amethyst Guard, that is, Belos being a witch hunter? Or worse yet, spending your entire life serving a cause that wasn't what you thought it was? It was definitely not something anyone could digest easily. Although, fortunately for the former guard duo, the Owl Lady and her human did not hesitate to allow them a place in the Owl House to shelter them from the Emperor's wrath.
