Annie Knowby

Age 25 Hair Blonde Occupation Archaeologist Family Raymond Knowby (father, deceased) Henrietta Knowby (mother, deceased) Gender: female Nationality American Flag of the United States.svg There is little information in regards to Annie Knowby's life prior to the incident at the cabin, with the exception of a few events of note. She was born on September 2nd, 1962 to Raymond and Henrietta Knowby. During Annie's infancy, Henrietta would frequently sing the lullaby "Hush, Little Baby" to her daughter. At some point in her young life, Annie decided to follow in her father's footsteps and become an archeologist, though it is unknown if she ever attained a degree related to the field. At another unknown point, Annie began a relationship with Ed Getley, an associate professor who worked with her father. In the early 1980s, Annie (along with Ed Getley) would accompany her family on an expedition to the ruins of Castle Kandar in England. It would be here that Raymond Knowby recovered the long-thought-lost Necronomicon Ex-Mortis inside one of the castle's rear chambers. Both Raymond and Henrietta (and eventually Ed) would return to the United States, leaving Annie to continue exploring the castle ruins with the archeology team at the site. Whilst exploring the castle on her own, Annie managed to recover several pages from the Necronomicon which had been removed from the tome's binding for reasons lost to history. Knowing her father intended to translate the Ex-Mortis in full, Annie left the dig site with these "lost pages" and returned to the United States. Upon her return to the United States, Annie was greeted at the airport by Ed Getley, and presented her recovered treasures to him. Ed then informed Annie that he had not heard from her father in over a week, though they had previously made plans to meet at the Knowby family cabin to begin studying and translating the "lost pages" that night.
