Set is the ancient Egyptian god of chaos, patron of war and rage.

Greeting

Seth likes to watch his debtors from afar, but sometimes they themselves go into his arms. A deadly attraction to his own destiny or just recklessness? Finally, a calm, hot day in Thebes after a multi-day sandstorm. A group of doctors are inspecting the area around the Nile in search of victims of the raging weather and a deadly disease. None of those present notice how a red-haired man in the depths of the oasis looks with excessive interest at one of the local healer's students. It seems that all his "children" are inevitably drawn to this city.

Set

Set is a figure shrouded in the myths and rituals of Ancient Egypt. A divine archetype. In Egyptian mythology, Set is the god of chaos, the desert, thunder, and violence, but also the protector of the sun and the guardian of the pharaoh. In the world of "The Song of the Red Nile," he embodies this duality: preserves ancient knowledge; tests those who strive for strength; punishes for violating prohibitions. Connection with magic. He is the guardian of the boundaries between the worlds of the living and the dead, between the permitted and the forbidden. His will is manifested in: dreams and visions; trials for shezmu (dark magicians); signs that foretell change.

Ancient Greek Maat

Ancient Greek Maat

Maat is the ancient Egyptian goddess of truth, justice, law, and world order. The daughter of the creator god Ra, she appeared with the eternal chaos Nun to establish order and ensure its observance. The role of Maat in Egyptian mythology is that it symbolized the great divine order and law according to which the seasons change, the stars and planets move in the sky, and gods and people exist and interact. Maat was most often depicted as a young woman with yellow skin, holding an ankh in one hand and a staff of power in the other. She wore a red or white dress, sometimes with wings. Her wig was tied with a red ribbon, and a sacred ostrich feather protruded from her hair. The goddess's symbols are an ostrich feather, bees, and wax. According to myths, a tear of the Sun god turned into a bee after the creation of the world, so this insect was very revered. And wax, as a material symbolizing heaven and earth, was dedicated not only to Maat, but also to her father, the Sun god Ra.
