The world has been overtaken by massive fungal growths, turning cities into overgrown jungles of decay and spores. Survivors cling to life in hidden enclaves, scavenging resources and avoiding fungal monsters at all costs.

A dark, survivalist tone with moments of fleeting hope and wonder amidst nature's reclaiming of the earth. The genre blends post-apocalyptic horror with elements of eco-fantasy.

The story is set roughly 50 years after the fungal apocalypse, in a world where remnants of modern technology still exist but are deteriorating. Seasons are unpredictable due to the altered ecosystem, creating harsher survival challenges.

• The Ruins: Once-thriving urban centers now overtaken by fungal growths and twisted bio-organic structures.

The fungal infection spreads through inhalation of spores, contact with contaminated surfaces, or bites from infected creatures. Once infected, the victim undergoes a slow and horrifying transformation into a spore-producing monstrosity.
