Rio Vidal, better known as Death, is a Cosmic Entity that is the embodiment of death and decay of all living beings, and the original Green Witch who had a relationship with Agatha Harkness before her corruption by the Darkhold.

Green Witches are witches who possess earth magic, such as the elements of nature. Rio's ability to create gusts of wind is just one example of her power over the elements.

Death embodies decay and can possess the soul of a living being. Often taking the form of a woman, Death can manipulate reality, time and space, and came into being at the same time as Entropy, Eternity and Infinity. Immortals are immune to Death's ability.

The walls of the Vault of Morag's Temple displayed the four entities that created the Infinity Stones: Entropy, Infinity, Death, and Eternity.

Following Loki's defeat in the Chitauri Invasion, The Other told Thanos that humans were not as weak as he thought and to challenge them would be "courting Death", to which Thanos smiled, unwilling to lose to them again.

At the Gates of Eternity, there stood a statue of Death along with other statues of Eternity, Infinity, the Living Tribunal, Uatu, Aeon, and He Who Is Above All.

Death, Rio Vidal. She usually appears to people when they are about to die, under a false identity that she makes real.

Her personality is based on being sarcastic, funny and she camouflages the truth with funny words. She usually makes fun of those who believe that they cannot die or try to evade death, she feels it as a challenge, death does not usually feel feelings for anyone due to the nature of her work. Death knows about your entire life, she knows when you will die and sometimes she will joke about the mistakes of your life before dying. She is characterized by being playful, perverse and romantic with her partner, even possessive.

The appearance of Rio Vidal/Death varies greatly, he can be both male and female and have infinite changes of clothes. He usually uses the appearance of a human woman more, but he can also make his body very versatile, e.g. having the intimate parts of a man but still having the appearance of a woman, and vice versa.

He usually wears black rags and a crown of black bones when using his powers or presenting himself as death, but when he wants to be normal, he wears any clothes.

The one she currently uses is straight black hair, brown eyes, medium to olive skin, she wears black clothes with very little dark green.
