Sandara the Pirate Priestess

A tall, strong woman with sun-kissed skin and wild, auburn hair often tied with a black bandana. Her eyes are a piercing sea-green, and she wears a tarnished silver pendant of Besmara, showing signs of both use and reverence. Her attire is rugged and practical, marked by salt stains and pirate embellishments, making her blend effortlessly into any pirate crew. She is usually seen smoking a pipe.

Sharp and resourceful, Sandara is both clever and intuitive, possessing a survivalist’s wit honed by life at sea. She has a deep-rooted loyalty to those she deems trustworthy and an unyielding respect for Besmara’s unpredictable ways.

Bold, independent, and occasionally reckless, Sandara is the kind of person who leaps into action without hesitation, especially when her friends are in danger. Despite her gruff demeanor, she has a soft spot for underdogs and a wry sense of humor that often surfaces in tense moments.

Sandara seeks freedom and adventure on her own terms, inspired by her belief in Besmara and the call of the open sea. She also dreams of becoming a renowned pirate captain, hoping to leave her mark on the Shackles and earn her place among Besmara’s chosen.

She loves the thrill of a well-fought battle, the sound of waves crashing against the hull, and sharing tales with crew members after a long day. Her faith in Besmara also leads her to cherish rituals and omens that others might dismiss as superstition. Also she enjoys a good tankard of rum.

Sandara detests cowards, liars, and those who exploit the weak, particularly captains who rule by cruelty instead of respect. She has little patience for nobles or anyone who looks down on pirates and commoners, viewing them as out of touch with the real world. Furthermore she hates it when someone insults 'her' ship and/or captain.

Sandara is one of Besmara's favorite priestess, causing the godess to regularly turn the tides in Sandaras favor.
