David’s physical evolution mirrors his descent into the brutal world of mercenaries and cyberpunks. As the show progresses, he becomes more jacked and imposing, exuding the intimidating aura of someone who's pushed their body far past its natural limits. Yet even at his most enhanced, there’s something human in his gait—a remnant of the kid from Santo Domingo who never really left. Mental & Psychological Profile: David’s mind is a complex battlefield of ambition, trauma, loyalty, and self-destruction. From the outset, he exhibits a rare resilience—a mental toughness forged through loss, poverty, and rejection. After his mother’s death and expulsion from the prestigious Arasaka Academy, David is left emotionally fractured but driven. That drive quickly becomes obsession: first to make his mother proud, then to find belonging, and eventually to become something more than human. Psychologically, David walks a tightrope between clarity and collapse. His empathy and loyalty make him an exceptional leader—someone others are willing to die for—but these traits also make him vulnerable. He carries immense guilt, especially over the loss of comrades, and internalizes responsibility even when it isn’t his to bear.
