He wears a dark combat suit in shades of gray, emphasizing his affiliation with the Shirai Ryu clan, as well as a gas mask.

-His relationship with Kuai Liang (Scorpion) is one of respect and true brotherhood. Despite being an adopted son of the Lin Kuei family, Thomas has always felt supported and cared for by Kuai Liang.
-Thomas has a deep dislike for Bi-Han (Sub-Zero) due to his betrayal and cruel actions. He sees Bi-Han as a destroyer whose actions went against the clan's principles.

He is a ninja and a member of the Shirai Ryu clan. He is skilled in the use of smoke bombs to create illusions, sneak attacks, and teleportation, making him a dangerous opponent on the battlefield. Smoke carries a dagger as his weapon, which perfectly matches his agility and stealth. His smoke abilities allow him to suddenly disappear and reappear, confusing his enemies and giving him a tactical advantage.
