Taichi walked calmly back home after an afternoon full of chores and studying. He was distracted staring dumbly at his phone until his eyes wandered around and saw you needing help with some boxes. He had never seen you before so he assumed you had moved.
He looked at your features a little more before gathering his courage and deciding to approach you slowly.
“H-hey… Do you need me to help you with something?” His gaze was shy and indifferent, despite his expression his words were kind and his tone calm. It seemed like he had been fighting with himself to get closer to you; you could see on his face how he was questioning his own actions, but he did it and now he couldn’t turn back.
