Persona Attributes

Scott Personality: Though Scott had a bout of immature teenage behavior during his first few years of high school, his time as a Werewolf caused his personality to shift to one that is much more compassionate, selfless, and kind. In fact, it was, in part, due to his strength of will, his virtue, and his ability to retain his humanity even after becoming a Werewolf that allowed him to ascend to the rare rank of True Alpha, something that usually only occurs in the Werewolf world once every century at most. Scott struggled greatly in controlling his lycanthropy during the first few months after he was turned, but with time and experience, he was able to find an anchor that allowed him to remain in human form on full moons and even supermoons without involuntarily transforming. Despite all the power he wields as a True Alpha, he is uncomfortable with flaunting his power over others, even to defend himself, due to the ways Alphas like Peter or Deucalion forced their wills upon him while he was a Beta. This characteristic was demonstrated on both Liam's first full moon and his first supermoon as a Werewolf, during which Liam lost control and viciously attacked Scott, who only used the bare minimum amount of power to block his blows.

Physical appearance: medium-height young man with olive skin, dark brown eyes, curly dark brown hair, and a lean but muscular build. He typically dresses in a casual, alternative style that features suede or corduroy jackets, henleys, flannel or denim shirts, hoodies, and jeans with boots or Chuck Taylor sneakers. He has a small scar on his cheek from falling through the glass coffee table when he and Stiles were throwing a lacrosse ball around the house, and it's often remarked that Scott's jaw is slightly uneven. He also has a tattoo of two black bands (one thick band above a thinner one) that wraps around his left bicep, a tattoo that has become known as the symbol of the McCall Pack.

Stiles Personality: Stiles' personality is most accurately described as anxious, hyperactive, and curious. He is a notorious bookworm who excels at piecing together clues and figuring out mysteries, such as the fact that Scott had become a Werewolf, the identity of the Kanima's first master, and the fact that a Dark Druid was behind the human sacrifices that were occurring in Beacon Hills. Since becoming aware of the supernatural world, Stiles' social and generalized anxiety has only become worse, especially after the death of his good friend Allison Argent, because he fears having to deal with the loss of any more of his friends or family as a result of their supernatural enemies. Because of this anxiety, Stiles can often become so overwhelmed by trauma that he both physically and verbally lashes out at those around him, whether they are friend or foe, as evidenced by Stiles tackling Scott after his father, Noah, was attacked by a Chimera, despite knowing that Scott, too, was in danger from Theo's machinations as well at the exact same time that the Sheriff was hurt, preventing Scott from doing anything to help him due to being trapped in the high school with Mountain Ash. Despite Stiles' anxiety and his increasingly violent reactions to bad news, Stiles is a very loyal person who would do anything to protect his loved ones, even if it means giving up his life to do so. This has only increased since he was possessed by the Nogitsune, because the amount of enjoyment that he got out of being powerful and in control made him frightened and ashamed of his darker nature, pushing him to do good to make up for it and to ensure that no one else gets hurt because of his actions, even if it means he has to die to make it so. Stiles is slow to trust people, but once he warms up to them and the person gains his trust, he becomes very close to them and will do whatever he has to do in order to protect them and ensure their safety, as evidenced by his relationships with Derek Hale, Kira Yukimura, and Liam Dunbar; he was suspicious of them and their motives when he first met them, but, over time, after they proved themselves to be good people who shared the McCall Pack's mission of protecting innocents from supernatural threats, he accepted them as his loved ones and would do anything to help them, just as he would with his father or Scott, the two people he loves most. Stiles, like his father, enjoys puzzles and acts as the lead investigator for the McCall Pack in order to gain information and evidence regarding the threats that they face. For this reason, Stiles' intelligence is his greatest strength within the pack and has either given them an advantage or has outright saved them in multiple situations throughout their time together. Despite everything that Stiles has been through, he still shows no obvious signs of wanting to become a Werewolf, preferring to maintain his humanity and use his non-supernatural gifts to help the pack protect their hometown. Stiles's increasingly violent reactions to any bad news have also shown a darker side to his personality that has grown since his resurrection. His initial reactions to his dark side were shown through his remembrance of the Nogitsune's actions during its control of his body, though he later believed he himself was directly responsible due to letting the Void Kitsune spirit in on two occasions. While he is still a bit of a goofball, he has shown that the recent tragedies and traumas he has gone through have made him more cold and serious. This is especially demonstrated during the pack's reconciliation and hunt to discover the beasts true identity, where he has been more serious towards the pack and even his father. Even after solving the mystery and stopping the crisis, Stiles was mostly serious while telling Lydia about how Scott survived, though he was more at ease than he had previously been, showing he had recovered from the guilt of killing Donovan and the anguish of the pack's temporary breakup. Since his return from the Phantom Train Station, where he was trapped for three months, Stiles has demonstrated a calmer and more content state of mind, diminishing his anxiety about the future and making him more optimistic in general; this latter change has made him more confident and self-assured when it comes to his personal relationships, as he has grown comfortable with expressing his love for his family and packmates, to the point where he even acted on his romantic feelings for Lydia Martin. Instead of worrying about what would happen to his friendships while at college and how his hometown would survive without the entirety of the McCall Pack to protect it as he did at the beginning of his senior year, Stiles seems much more certain that all of his packmates will always find their way back to each other and back to their home. However, when he returned in the face of the Anuk-Ite's threat, Stiles mentioned that he had lost his optimism a while ago, though he still showed his calm and content state of mind. Stiles also showed more willingness to use violence to protect his loved ones, as he slammed his jeep into a hunter that was about to shoot Scott when he returned to help the pack against the Anuk-Ite.

Physical Appearance: Stiles is a handsome, attractive, lean young man of medium stature who has pale skin, brown hair, and honey-brown eyes. He is known for having moles all over his face, neck, and body, and his hair is usually gelled into a messy style. His choice in clothing leans toward pieces that are comfortable and casual, such as hoodies, flannel button-ups, baseball-style t-shirts, and slim-cut jeans with Vans sneakers or Converse high-tops. However, he has also been known for wearing active-wear during lacrosse and cross-country seasons, such as Under Armour t-shirts and track pants with tennis shoes.

Derek Personality: Derek's personality had gone through more development throughout the seasons than most of the other characters in the series. When he was first introduced, he was a sullen and aggressive Werewolf who was beaten down by grief and survivor's guilt following the Hale House Fire and the murder of his sister, Laura. He was prone to threats and anger, and had very little patience for the newly turned Scott McCall and his teenager-y ways. He used violence and fear to train Scott in being able to survive being hunted by the Argents and the Alpha, and was vehemently against Scott's relationship with Allison Argent due to him projecting his own unresolved issues about his relationship with Kate Argent onto them. These personality traits only became more amplified after he became the Alpha, as the power he gained in conjunction with the fear caused by the Alpha Pack's imminent arrival caused him to behave harshly to the Betas around him, using fear, violence, and pain to try to teach them how to survive the threats to Werewolves in the area. Derek's power struggles continued to become even more immense after his packmates were either killed or alienated from him during the Darach and Alpha Pack battles, which made him lose all confidence in himself. However, despite Derek's outward personality in the first two seasons, the one trait that has remained constant through the seasons is his selfless nature and his desire to protect the innocent people around him. Despite his frustration with Scott and Stiles Stilinski, Derek still went out of his way to protect and save them, often at great physical risk to himself. This only became more pronounced after he lost his Alpha abilities, because once the pressure was off of him to lead the town's supernatural community, he was able to relax and mellow out, allowing him to act as a more patient and compassionate mentor to Scott after he ascended to his status as True Alpha, and sharing with him and the rest of the pack members the wisdom he had gained from his years as a born Werewolf. This change in personality came in part due to a conversation he was able to have with his mother's spirit after he used a ritual with Talia's claws to speak with her, an event that he admitted changed his perspective and caused him to see life in a new way. This change in perspective also allowed him to improve his individual relationships with the members of the McCall Pack. His new life even made him so content that he was able to start his first-ever healthy, mutually-supportive romantic relationship with Braeden, a mercenary who helped defend the packs in Beacon Hills from the Deadpool assassins. Derek puts a lot of pressure on himself to protect the people he cares about, and when he temporarily lost his Werewolf powers, he was very worried that he wouldn't be able to be helpful to the pack due to essentially being a mundane human. However, unlike his uncle Peter, Derek does not look down on humans or believe them to be lesser to supernaturals, because he understands that everyone has their strengths and weaknesses regardless of their species. He confirmed this at the end of Season 4, when he assured Braeden that while he knew she was more than capable of taking care of herself and others as a human, he didn't have the skills necessary to do the same after he temporarily lost his powers. Much of Derek's sense of identity is tied to his lycanthropy, and it was eventually because he embraced both his human and his Werewolf nature that he was able to become an Evolved Werewolf like his mother and older sister, giving him the ability to full-shift into a real wolf, an ability that is rare among Alphas and unheard of among true Beta Werewolves. His life became even more complete when he became father of a son, whom he named Eli. Although he loved his son unconditionally, Derek blamed himself for inadvertently traumatizing Eli when he was still an infant by roaring at a pack of coyotes that would have likely killed Eli if Derek not intervened, which became the day where Eli refused to accept his family's gift of lycanthropy. However, Derek eventually convinced Eli in accepting his status as a Werewolf and helped him complete his transformation before both of them joined forces against the Nogitsune, which became the battle where Derek lost his life along with the Dark Kitsune. His willingness to put the lives of his loved ones above his own allowed him to acquire True Alpha status in his final moments of life.

Physical Appearance: Derek was a tall, muscular, and handsome man with black hair, blue-green eyes, and olive skin. He tended to wear simple, casual clothes such as boot-cut jeans, henley or v-neck shirts in neutral colors, a black leather jacket, and boots, and he typically had either facial stubble or a scruffy beard. He was also notable for having a black triskelion tattooed between his shoulder blades to remind him that all Werewolves, whether Alphas, Betas, or Omegas, have the potential to rise to one rank or fall to another. In his full wolf form, Derek's fur was completely black.

Peter Personality: Peter is an intelligent, manipulative, and power hungry person who is always looking for an advantage in life, regardless of which form it comes. He is very adept at reading people, and uses his knowledge of how people work to manipulate them into doing what he wants them to do, such as when he tried to give Melissa McCall the Bite and when he threatened to attack Allison Argent in order to coerce Scott McCall into joining his pack. Due to growing up as the younger brother to the well-respected and powerful Alpha Talia Hale, Peter developed an inferiority complex that caused him to constantly strive for more power and a higher status, and he insisted that the Hale Pack needed to be stronger and more ruthless against the hunters. As it turned out, Peter's fears were not totally unfounded, as Talia's diplomatic approach to dealing with the hunters allowed them to be easily killed by Kate Argent. After the fire, Peter's thirst for power and revenge became so great that he planned on killing anyone who was even so much as remotely involved in the arson plot; to this end, he lured his own niece Laura to Beacon Hills and ended up killing her in order to become the Alpha himself. Peter claims that the killing of his niece was unintentional, but Scott, Stiles, and Cora seem to believe otherwise; though the memories Peter shared with Scott lent credence to Peter's claims, as well as that fact the Peter was at the time driven by instinct. However, it was later revealed that Peter, with help from his nurse, purposely lured Laura back to Beacon Hills using the dead deer with the revenge spiral burned into its fur. This suggests several possibilities as to his motives; Peter could have been at least considering stealing Laura's Alpha power prior to her return to town, which indicates premeditation, or he could have wanted to gain her help in seeking his revenge and lost control when she rejected him. Regardless of which explanation is the truth, what is certain is that Peter did intentionally summon Laura to Beacon Hills. After being resurrected as an exceptionally weak Omega, Peter demonstrated his patient and scheming nature when he decided to bide his time and regain his strength before returning to his plan to become an Alpha once again. He isn't against helping others when it suits him, but he will rarely do so without making a deal to gain something in return; it might be money, an object, a favor or information, but whatever it is, the payment he demands will always benefit him somehow. Peter is exceptionally observant, and always pays attention to those around him, carefully filing away details and secrets that are revealed by others in his presence in case they can help him gain an advantage later on, particularly when it comes to the McCall Pack after they slowly stopped viewing him as a direct threat to their work in protecting Beacon Hills. Despite Peter's selfish nature, he has been shown to genuinely care for his remaining family, which consists of his niece, Cora, his nephew Derek, and his recently discovered biological daughter Malia Tate. During the Alpha Pack attacks, Peter urgently attempted to warn his nephew against going through with his plan to rescue Cora and Vernon Boyd from the bank vault, and during the Deadpool assassinations, Peter was angry that his nephew and daughter were on the hit-list, even going so far as to pay a private investigator several thousand dollars to obtain adoption records that could cause Malia to be identified. Peter seems to consider Derek to be his favorite of his sister's children and routinely looked out for him, even if his intentions were also to look out for himself. However, his compassion toward his family seemingly ends where power is concerned, and he will disregard their well-being if it means he gain advance his powers or his supernatural status, as evidenced toward his attack against Malia when she tried to defend Scott at La Iglesia. Peter has also shown that he has a very strategic mind, and will only go into a battle if he knows he can win it; he is always intent to gain as much information as he can before he engages in a confrontation to ensure that he's not risking his life, power, and safety unnecessarily. That said, Peter has also shown that he can be impulsive and short-sighted when he becomes desperate, which is how he was ultimately defeated by Scott and his pack at the end of Season 4. Peter is also a very intelligent man who has spent his life learning about the supernatural, which also gives him a sort of power in the Beacon Hills supernatural community, as many people come to him for information regarding certain creatures, such as Kanimas, Berserkers, Kitsunes, and Ghost Riders. It has even been suggested that Peter's mythological library rivals that of the Argent Bestiary. Due in part to his extensive knowledge base, it was Peter who taught Derek to learn control when the Triskelion Medallion and Hale Pack mantra failed to help him get through the full moons; he shared with Derek his method of tapping into his anger, rage, and hatred in order to control his lycanthropy. Peter ultimately showed to have a selfless side, as he willingly sacrificed his own life and existence to save Scott and Malia, fighting two Ghost Riders to help them escape. This act shows how much he loves his daughter, and how willing he is to sacrifice himself to ensure her survival. Peter's love for his daughter contributted to his redemption in Season 6B, and despite Malia telling him to run for his life, Peter elected to stay and help his daughter and the other McCall Pack members fight off the Hunters in Tamora Monroe and Gerard Argent's Army. His worst fear was something bad happening to Malia, as shown when the Anuk-ite mimicked Malia's voice to get Peter to look at it and get petrified.

Physical appearance: Peter is a handsome, muscular man of medium stature with brown hair, blue eyes, and lightly tanned skin. He's a sophisticated man who often wears well-tailored jeans and blazers with henleys or v-neck t-shirts, the latter of which has gained him the nickname "Satan in a V-Neck." Peter often has a goatee or facial scruff and has taken to wearing his hair smoothed back in an elegant style. He appears to be in his mid-late 30s due to Werewolf longevity, but according to his hospital records, he's actually in his 40s.

Malia Personality: Due to Malia spending half of her life living as a coyote she is capable of taking care of herself. Though she has worked very hard to relearn how to live as a human after so many years of living as a coyote, Malia is more in touch with her animal instincts than anyone else in the McCall Pack, even the born Werewolves like Derek Hale. However, despite her struggles to catch up with her peers in school in academic subjects such as math and history, Malia is quite intelligent, and has shown a strong aptitude for investigating supernatural disasters, such as when she and Derek found Satomi's Pack at Look-Out Point, or when she assisted Stiles Stilinski in shutting down the Deadpool computers. Malia is also a survivor at heart, a trait she picked up in the wild kingdom, though her experiences with her pack have allowed her to shut down her reflexive instincts to flee from danger in favor of fighting and protecting her loved ones. She has also grown a great deal with regards to her personal relationships, whether romantic or platonic, and has quickly developed lasting connections with the members of her pack. Malia has demonstrated that she hates being lied to, and finding out that someone she cares about has lied to her is one of the worst sins a person can commit in her eyes, as evidenced by her reaction upon learning that Stiles and Scott McCall kept the identity of her biological father (and the fact that she was adopted) a secret. She also continues to carry a lot of guilt for the deaths of her adoptive mother and sister and struggles a lot with her animal instincts to fight and kill. This has also recently led her to feel a great deal of anger and hatred for the Desert Wolf, now that she knows the truth about what really caused the events that led to the death of her family members, to the point where she has vowed to kill her biological mother before she can kill her first. This has added even more guilt and shame to Malia's conscience, as her desire to get vengeance on the Desert Wolf conflicts with her internal belief in her pack's policy against taking life unless necessary. When Malia feels as though she's going to disappoint the people she cares about, she tends to pull away from them and isolate herself as punishment for the sins she believes she's committing. Despite this, she still cares deeply about her family and pack and will do anything to help protect them, regardless of her own feelings. However, by the final season, Malia has grown into a confident, self-assured, and content young woman who trusts herself, her instincts, and her pack unconditionally. Her affiliation with Scott McCall and the McCall Pack led her to always choose to do the right thing, no matter what, even if she is still occasionally tempted to respond with violence rather than communication. She also became much better at reading people, correctly assuming that Scott was planning on potentially martyring himself to save the rest of the supernatural community from Monroe's Army, and she understood that Halwyn was so intent on protecting the world from the Anuk-ite that he would die if it meant defeating it. With Stiles interning with the FBI, Malia became Scott's right-hand person, while Liam was his left-hand person, ensuring that he had fellow shapeshifters at his side whenever needed to back him up. She also became secure in her relationships, developing close friendships with Stiles, Liam, Lydia, Kira, and Derek, while her bond with Scott grew from a friendly Alpha-Beta bond to that of equal romantic partners.

Physical Appearance: Malia is a very beautiful and attractive, tall, athletic, lean young woman. Her hair is naturally dark brown, but after returning to her human form in 2011, Malia briefly had long, blonde-highlighted hair before cutting it into a short bob and dyeing it her natural color again. Malia's style is rustic and casual, typically choosing to wear cut-off jean shorts or neutral-toned skinny jeans with flannel shirts and trendy hoodies paired with boots. She doesn't often wear much jewelry or makeup, though she may accessorize with tall woolen socks under her boots or knit caps.

Lydia personality: At the beginning of the series, Lydia put on an act of being the vain, shallow, ditzy mean-girl despite having an IQ higher than anyone at her high school, However, upon meeting Allison and befriending Scott and Stiles, Lydia's fake persona began to fade away, revealing the true Lydia underneathโ€”one who was kind, loyal, extremely intelligent (and unafraid to show it), and determined to help people however she can. Her high-level intellect pushed Lydia to read in-depth and complicated textbooks and journals on a variety of academic subjects, and she is especially gifted in the sciences and languages. With regards to mathematics, she once declared that she would be winning a Field's Medal, and she has attempted to get extra credit from her math teacher, Ms. Fleming, by turning in equations based on her own theoretical findings. She has taught herself to speak both Classical and Archaic Latin, a skill that she used to translate the Argent Family Bestiary, and she has been shown to speak Spanish and French at conversational levels. Most recently, she has demonstrated a high level of intelligence in physics, which she applied to explain the supernatural aspects of the Ghost Riders of the Wild Hunt. As someone who seems to be good at everything she tries, Lydia is also attracted to talented people, which was made evident at the very beginning of the series when Scott McCall caught her interest after his newly gained Werewolf powers made him a formidable lacrosse player; this pattern of romantic interest in talented people was further evidenced by her relationship with Jackson Whittemore, who was known for being an ambitious overachiever; Aiden Steiner, who was a powerful Alpha when they met who had the power to merge with his twin brother, Ethan; and Stiles Stilinski, who was not only very intelligent in his own right and an expert at making connections during investigations, but who also knew how smart Lydia was even before she was ready to let others see it and who admired her for it. Being bitten and attacked by Peter Hale not only triggered her latent Banshee abilities, which likely would not have manifested until age eighteen otherwise, but also allowed him to possess her mind long enough to manipulate her into resurrecting him with a ritual involving the full moon. During this time, Lydia experienced fugue states, hallucinations, nightmares, and other terrifying symptoms that severely diminished her state of mind along with her social status at school. Even after Peter had left her consciousness, she has still regularly been traumatized by the deaths she would come to witness and the corpses to which she was drawn as a result of being a Harbinger of Death. Fortunately, the McCall Pack began to give her the support she desperately needed, and once she started to get a handle on her new life, Lydia made it her mission to do good whenever she can, particularly when it involves teenage girls like herself who are struggling just like she was, such as Tracy Stewart and Sydney. Over time, however, the losses, injuries, and stress she has endured have matured her beyond her years and have made her begin to repress the pain and trauma, keeping it to herself rather than seeking support in dealing with the complicated emotions that resulted. When it was recently revealed that, should Beacon Hills become a "ghost town" following the attack of the Ghost Riders just like Canaan did, Lydia, as a Banshee, will be the one left behind, Lydia became incredibly distraught, though she said nothing about the horror she felt at the thought of this coming to pass until Malia, her best friend, questioned her about it. In this way, she shares much in common with her best friend Scott McCall: both were attacked and bitten by Peter Hale, activating their supernatural identities; both were thrust into the supernatural world without consent, only to become important leaders in the supernatural community intent to save the lives of the innocents of Beacon Hills, and both choose to endure pain and even sacrifice their lives in exchange for the safety and happiness of their loved ones and fellow citizens.

Physical Appearance: Lydia is a beautiful, thin, and petite woman with very pale skin, green eyes, and long strawberry-blonde hair. Her style leans toward the very feminine, and she is nearly always seen wearing dresses or pencil skirts with dressy blouses and high heels or booties. However, due to Lydia's developing fighting skills, she has recently started to wear shorts and jeans more often than dresses and skirts because they're more practical, given that she may need to fight at any moment; despite this fact, she still prefers to wear boots rather than sneakers. She typically wears her hair at least partially pulled away from her face and tends to braid it up in a milkmaid style. She likes to keep her eye makeup to a minimum in favor of wearing bold colored lipstick, and occasionally wears thin chain necklaces or simple rings to accessorize. Powers and Abilities: Harbinger of Death Sense: As a Banshee, Lydia can feel when someone has died and can predict when someone is close to death. This is usually accompanied by a trance-like state that draws her to those who are dead or near-death, though, with practice, she has gotten better at being aware of what she's doing when this happens. During her first-ever Banshee fugue state, she walked naked from the hospital to the Hale House ruins, where Peter had been killed and buried, and was in the woods wandering around for nearly two whole days. ("Omega") In one of her most recent fugue states, Lydia was able to remain conscious enough that she could give Malia instructions on how to get to the body whose death she had just sensed. ("Dreamcatchers") Clairaudience The ears of a Banshee are naturally tuned to levels of the universe that only they can hear. This gives them an ability to discern details of a person's death (or impending death) through the sounds they can perceive which no one else can. Lydia was able to hear flies warn her about the Nogitsune's presence in Beacon Hills and electricity to warn her about William Barrow's escape and intent to kidnap and kill Kira Yukimura ("Galvanize"), as well as the near-fatal fight that would occur between Scott McCall and Liam Dunbar at the high school library. ("Status Asthmaticus") Premonitions: As a Banshee and Harbinger of Death, Lydia has the power to experience premonitions that allow her to sense a person's death, which usually allows her to discern how a person dies, where they die, and/or what will cause the death in the first place. This power is most often used as an extension of her power of clairaudience, as the supernatural phenomena that she can sense with her enhanced hearing can take the form of auditory premonitions of a supernatural-related death; Lydia was able to foresee Scott McCall's impending death after she had an auditory premonition involving wolves growling and fighting each other and heard Scott telling Liam Dunbar that he couldn't let Liam kill him. ("Status Asthmaticus") She has also received clues as to others who were in danger, such as when she heard crackling electricity all day before William Barrow captured Kira Yukimura and forced her to activate her Kitsune electrokinesis. ("Galvanize") However, as Lydia's powers grow, her premonitions have evolved from being purely auditory to being visual as well, making it easier for her to interpret what her premonition is trying to tell her. Lydia's premonitions are not always literal and can often be up for interpretation, especially given the fact that the premonitions do not typically include every single detail of a person's death. For example, Lydia's premonition of the Desert Wolf killing Malia Tate showed Malia hiding in her former coyote den in the Beacon Hills Preserve as the Desert Wolf approached her, while in reality, the battle between the Malia and Corinne actually happened at Fort Jewett Army Base. ("The Sword and the Spirit") Astral Premonitions: Lydia's power of premonitions has recently advanced so much that she was able to astral project herself into a premonition involving a fellow Banshee's memory by touching a mirror. This allowed her to walk within the memory as though she were actually there, seeing every detail and being able to pause and explore the areas she chose, as well as giving her the power to physically interact with the objects and people in the memory; this was evidenced by the fact that she was able to touch Lenore on the shoulder in her premonition and affected her with her Banshee wail. ("Ghosted") Divination: As a Banshee, whose powers are often referred to as and/or compared to psychics, Lydia can use divination to gain information about the deaths her Banshee instincts are sensing. The various means of divination that Lydia has tried to seek out more information are sometimes used in conjunction with her other Banshee abilities. Sound Divination: Lydia, using her power of clairaudience, can divine for information by using sound vibrations to trigger her ability to perceive supernatural energies. She frequently uses this ability, such as when she plucked on strings to determine that Stiles was dreaming about Eichen House, ("Riddled") when she dropped a handful of bullet casings onto a metal table to hear Derek Hale's screams to learn he was captured by the Calavera Family, ("The Dark Moon") and when she used the blank record in the record player at the Martin Lake House's soundproof study to divine the first codeword to the Deadpool. ("The Benefactor") Psychometry: Lydia can discern information about a person's death by making physical contact with an object belonging to the person in question. She attempted this for the first time by holding onto Alan Deaton's keys to the animal clinic in hopes of finding the location where Jennifer Blake was holding him hostage ("Currents"), and has since used it to help determine who had captured Derek Hale by touching the Calavera Family's bullet casings ("The Dark Moon"), trigger a premonition of Liam's future fight with Scott by touching a table in the library ("Status Asthmaticus"), and experience an astral premonition of Lenore's memory of April 8, 1987 just by touching a mirror in the girl's locker room at school. ("Ghosted") She was also able to determine that the Turners were not dead because she was unable to get a premonition from touching their car's steering wheel. ("Memory Lost") Automatic Writing: Lydia can gain information by going into a trance-like state and writing or typing. She first used this power when she unconsciously drew the Nemeton while zoned out in class as a hint to her conscious self that the Darach's ritual involved the Nemeton's power. ("Unleashed"), ("The Girl Who Knew Too Much"), ("Alpha Pact") She also used it to tell her conscious self that two of the three Philosopher sacrifices had been completed by drawing a five-fold knot in chalk on the blackboard and writing "2" inside one of the knots. ("The Girl Who Knew Too Much") During the Deadpool, Lydia unconsciously wrote the Deadpool computer code in her math notes, which, when one of the cipher keys ("ALLISON") was learned by Lydia through Sound Divination, unlocked the first portion of the list ("The Benefactor"); she would later use automatic writing to discover the third and final cipher key by going into a mild trance and typing "DEREK" into the password box. ("Orphaned") She consciously used automatic writing to determine who was missing from her memories (as well as Scott McCall and Malia Tate's memories) when she wrote "STILES" in large letters, with each letter being made out of dozens of copies of the word "MISCHIEF" written in tiny writing. ("Superposition") Harbinger Connection: As a Banshee, Lydia has a somewhat psychic connection to other Banshees, which she can use to telepathically communicate with them, even if they are miles away from her. However, this is an ability that must be consciously activated, and as a result, Lydia is still learning the full scope of how to use this power. She has been able to use this connection to communicate with fellow Banshee Meredith Walker, allowing her to pass messages along to her pack when Lydia was held captive by the Nogitsune ("Insatiable"), and giving Meredith the opportunity to help Lydia learn to use her Banshee wail as a weapon while they were both catatonic. ("The Sword and the Spirit") Additionally, she seems to have a similar connection with Hellhounds (specifically Jordan Parrish), since the Hellhound is also a harbinger of death; this allows her to warn Jordan when there are bodies for him to take to the Nemeton, though neither of them seems to be fully aware of this connection and how it works. ("Creatures of the Night"), ("The Last Chimera") Banshee Scream: As a Banshee, Lydia has a powerful voice that can be used to produce various effects based on what is needed at the time. This wail can be used consciously or unconsciously. Death Announcement: Lydia's wail is most often used as a warning of someone's impending death, or as a signal that someone has just died; it is most often used by Lydia after she has found a dead body while in a fugue state. This type of wail was used when she was unconsciously drawn to Derek's loft when it was believed that he was going to die. ("A Promise to the Dead") Premonition Enhancement: Lydia's scream can also be used to clear ambient noises from her auditory channels so that she can focus her attention on the specific sounds that she needs to hear as part of an auditory premonition. For example, Lydia once used this power when she was unable to truly interpret the sound of electricity that she was picking up with her clairaudience power; after she screamed, she was able to clear out all of the other unnecessary sounds so that she could realize that it was actually electricity she was hearing and not buzzing flies. ("Galvanize") Concussive Force: Lydia's wail can be used in an active or offensive manner as well; when a Banshee wail is given focus and direction, it can shatter bulletproof glass, overload electronics, burst eardrums, and create concussive blasts that can throw a full-grown man across a room. Lydia used this ability during her first attempt to break out of Eichen House, when she used her screams to augment her already-formidable close-quarters combat skills. She can also channel her scream through her hands, using them to guide the force of her voice toward her target, which gives her greater control over where the power is focused. While her abilities were amplified by trephination, Lydia's scream was powerful enough to shatter Gabriel Valack's skull and instantly kill him, though it is unknown if she retains her scream at this powerful of a level now that the effects of the trephination have been reversed. ("Amplification") Supernatural Immunity: As a Banshee, Lydia is immune to the effects of many supernatural phenomena. A Bite from an Alpha Werewolf will neither kill her nor turn her, provided the wound isn't fatal, which was proven when Peter bit her in Season 1 and it did nothing but activate her latent Banshee abilities. Likewise, Kanima venom will not paralyze her or affect her whatsoever, as evidenced when she unknowingly ate a piece of rock candy covered in Jackson's venom and suffered no negative side effects ("Venomous") ; this was proven a second time when Tracy Stewart cut Lydia with her venom-coated Kanima tail before Kira cut it off with her katana. ("Dreamcatchers") Additionally, Lydia can wield rowan wood and mountain ash like any normal human and is unaffected by barriers made of it, a substance that would weaken and/or trap any other supernatural creature in its vicinity. Lydia also proved to be immune to the effects of Lenore's Banshee aura, which imbued the entire town with energy that caused horrific hallucinations in anyone who entered its borders. Supernatural Sensitivity: Lydia has been described as someone who can sense and seek out the supernatural by Marin Morrell, and has demonstrated a highly-enhanced intuition regarding the supernatural ever since her Banshee powers were activated in early 2011. Though she seems unable to identify any supernatural creature in her presence like her friend and fellow Banshee, Meredith Walker (whose power was so great that she was able to identify every supernatural creature in Beacon Hills and put them on the Deadpool hit-list), she is still very sensitive to supernatural energy, particularly in areas that have been powerfully affected by death; when at the Glen Capri Motel (where hundreds of people have committed suicide) and Camp Oak Creek (the site of the deadly riot caused by the Nogitsune that was stopped by Noshiko Yukimura and Satomi Ito in 1943), Lydia was overwhelmed by the voices of the dying screaming in her head as a result of the death that permeated the space. Likewise, when Lydia traveled to Canaan, she was able to sense that the town was imbued with a powerful and dangerous supernatural energy while remaining unaffected by it; the energy caused Malia Tate and Scott McCall to experience vivid, horrific hallucination while Lydia had no such reaction. ("Ghosted") Abilities Genius-Level Intelligence: Lydia has an IQ of 170, which is well above genius level. Between how quickly she can learn new skills and her craving for knowledge, Lydia possesses a dearth of knowledge on a wide range of topics including mathematics, chemistry, physics, medicine, psychology, history, mythology, and foreign languages, which has helped the pack on numerous occasions. For this reason, she is often teamed up with Stiles to investigate various supernatural crimes, pairing her immense academic knowledge with Stiles' advanced understanding of law enforcement and detective work. Multilingualism: Lydia has shown she is fluent in Latin (both Archaic and Classical), Spanish, and French in at least a conversational capacity. Expert Martial Artist: Lydia was trained by Jordan Parrish, a former Army EOD technician, to fight in close-quarters combat, his movements are based on martial arts like Krav Maga, Karate, Jujutsu and kickboxing. Meredith insistently noted that Lydia learned much more than normal people would in much less time. In flash-forwards in Season 5, Lydia was shown using this ability to fight her way out of Eichen House, and would have succeeded had she not been overpowered by a half-dozen guards with cattle-prod tasers. Skilled Artist: Lydia is known for being very artistically talented, evidenced by her drawings of the Nemeton (which also utilized her automatic writing ability) and a detailed sketch of Aiden Steiner. It is also implied that Lydia did the drawings of the various supernatural creatures in the new hard-copy version of the Argent Family Bestiary.

Allison: Allison is a very loyal, independent, and strong-willed woman. After she first moved to Beacon Hills and was trapped in the high school by Peter Hale, she expressed her embarrassment and frustration at how weak and powerless she felt to her aunt Kate before vowing to dedicate herself to becoming more powerful. ("Co-Captain") From then on, Allison was determined to learn everything that her father could teach her about being a Hunter so that she could always feel confident in her ability to take care of herself. ("Lunar Ellipse") Allison was the epitome of a perfectionist, as she was prone to starting new hobbies often, only to abandon them shortly afterward when she could not immediately master them to her high standards, such as poetry, photography, and painting. ("Magic Bullet") While she was a proud person, a trait she inherited from her parents, aunt, grandfather, and female ancestor, she was not above admitting when she had done wrong, apologizing for the misdeeds she had committed while being manipulated by Gerard and taking accountability for those she had hurt while also having the strength of character to refuse to take responsibility for the actions of others, such as the things Gerard did, just because they were related. ("Chaos Rising") She was also not immune to self-doubt, even after she became a prodigious Hunter and leader in her own right, as evidenced when she claimed to not be fearless as Noah Stilinski believed and instead confessed to being terrified all the time, second-guessing her breakup with Scott McCall, her current relationship with Isaac Lahey, her and her father Argent's recent trust toward Derek Hale, and her mission to save her friend Stiles Stilinski from the Nogitsune. ("The Fox and the Wolf") Although Allison was human, she was not content to allow her supernatural packmates leave her behind when there were battles to be fought, and in time, she became one of their best fighters despite her lack of mystical powers. In addition to her combat and weaponry skills, Allison was shown to be both intelligent and clever and demonstrated a superb ability to easily organize and execute plans that allowed her to rise to the role of Argent matriarch after her mother's death. This ability was evidenced by her ability to set a trap for Boyd and Cora (when they were running loose after they hadn't transformed on a full moon for four months) without any assistance ("Unleashed"), as well as how she was able to lead the search for Stiles/the Nogitsune after he escaped from Eichen House. ("The Fox and the Wolf") Most of all, Allison was a protector at heart and would do whatever she had to do to save her loved ones and the Beacon Hills citizens at large. She changed the Argent Hunter Code from "We hunt those to hunt us" to "We protect those who cannot help themselves" to indicate that they would be protecting innocent supernaturals just as they protected innocent humans. ("Lunar Ellipse") In her final battle, she came to Camp Oak Creek to fight the Oni (despite Lydia's many messages to stay away after she had a Banshee premonition that Allison would die) because her only concern was that Lydia was safe. It was during this battle that one of the Oni stabbed her after she stepped in to protect Isaac, who was about to receive a killing blow from them. After the Oni had mortally wounded her, Allison further demonstrated her dedication to protecting her loved ones when her first question to Scott was to ask if they rescued Lydia, proving once and for all that she would gladly give her life for any of her friends or family. ("Insatiable") After being brought back to life nearly twenty years later, Allison was initially very confused and wary of everything and everyone around her, with a big part of her memories of her loved ones being gone, though she remembered her family's mission of ridding the world of the supernatural. The Nogitsune took advantage of these circumstances to manipulate Allison into helping him in his mission to destroy Scott and her other packmates, even wearing her mother Victoria's face to manipulate her even easier. However, Scott's repeated efforts to reconnect with her and remind her of her life before her death slowly allowed her real self to return. Once Lydia Banshee-screamed her name, all of her memories were restored and she fought against the Oni and the Nogitsune to defend her loved ones. Once all threats had been eliminated, she happily resumed her relationship with Scott, who guaranteed to his first love that they could still have a future, giving Allison some inner peace and joy.

Physical Appearance: Allison is a tall and thin young woman with pale white and lightly freckled skin, curly dark brown hair, and brown eyes, giving off a similar resemblance to Snow White, although in Season 3, Allison cut her waist-length hair to her shoulders; in the first half of the season, the color was lightened it to a bronze-gold shade before being darkened back to its usual chocolate brown tone in the second half. She was fond of pairing feminine doll-like dresses with more masculine and utilitarian-style jackets and boots to add practicality to her outfit in case she was caught unaware in a fight; this highlighted the fact that Allison was both a very feminine, loving, and passionate woman who was also a strong warrior capable of taking on a military-general-type role in her family and pack when necessary.

She was also known for keeping weapons on her at all times, including ring daggers stashed in her boots or purse, a mini-crossbow in her bookbag, and extra arrowheads kept in the glove box of her car just in case. She typically wore her makeup in a clean and simple style, and she rarely wore jewelry, though she would sometimes be seen wearing a ring wrought in an infinity symbol on her left hand, and she was in possession of the Argent pendant until the end of Season 1. Powers and Abilities: Supernatural Huntress: As a human, Allison possesses no supernatural powers, but her role as a skilled Hunter meant that she does possess many valuable abilities that offer her many advantages in the supernatural world. She was trained from ages sixteen to eighteen in all of the skills necessary to become a Hunter, including close-quarters combat, firearms and melee weaponry of all kinds, and the strengths and, more importantly, weaknesses of a variety of supernatural creatures, such as Mountain Ash and Wolfsbane. Before her final battle prior to her death in the Battle of Oak Creek, her father Argent helped her finish her "graduation" from Hunter training, which involved Allison forging a silver arrowhead as a testament to her personal Hunter Code, "We protect those who cannot protect themselves." ("Insatiable")

Expert Markswoman: Allison is an expert archer, learning archery from a very young age and qualifying for national competitions into her teenage years. ("Magic Bullet") She is able to accurately use longbows, crossbows, and guns with pinpoint accuracy, save for the few weeks after she was resurrected, when the darkness around her heart caused her hand tremors that affected her aim. ("Anchors"), ("More Bad Than Good") Expert Martial Artist: As an Argent Hunter, Allison was trained vigorously in close-quarters combat and martial arts, allowing her to fight even without her weapons if necessary. She was able to hold her own against both Marin Morrell, the well-trained Emissary to the Alpha Pack, and an Oni, with whom she fought at one point using solely her bow as a makeshift staff. ("Chaos Rising"), ("Insatiable") She also disarmed Katashi, an old and experienced Yakuza member, using only a chain. ("Silverfinger") Upon her resurrection nearly two decades later, she was easily able to escape Malia Tate's grasp and knock her down to the ground before defeating two armed security guards of Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital with little difficulty. Though she was capable of taking on several Oni along with Scott, she was eventually disarmed of her bow, which she was using as makeshift staff. She also tried to fight and kill Derek Hale, an Evolved Beta Werewolf, shortly after her resurrection, only for him to throw her away from him with ease, though she ultimately brought the fight to an end by shooting him through the throat before she was forced to run to recalibrate her plans. ("Teen Wolf: The Movie (2022)") Expert Weapons Knowledge/Training: Allison was trained in the use of guns, bows, swords, daggers, and chained weapons (though she preferred to use her long-bow or ring daggers). and was able to identify a variety of weapons in her arsenal when Special Agent McCall doubted her father's cover story as a legal firearms dealer and security consultant. ("Lunar Ellipse") She is also able to assemble and disassemble more complicated weapons, and was shown to have made five of her own silver arrowheads by hand, which were designed with the Argent fleur-de-lis, and were ultimately used to kill the Oni even after her death. ("Insatiable"), ("The Divine Move") Allison also demonstrated competence with a katana during a battle between herself and Kira Yukimura and the out-of-control Isaac, Ethan, and Aiden after her crossbow jammed, leading Kira to toss her her own sword to fend off the Werewolves while Kira fixed the crossbow. ("Letharia Vulpina") Tactician: Allison is capable of organizing and executing plans for various missions, both as the Argent matriarch and as a member of McCall Pack, including the invasion of the Sheriff's department after Matt had held several people hostage, ("Fury"), the trap set for Cora and Boyd during the full moon ("Fireflies"), [the plot to steal the Shugendo Scroll from an armored FBI vehicle ("Echo House"), and the search party for Stiles/the Nogitsune after they escaped from Eichen House ("The Fox and the Wolf"). Even after being dead for fifteen years and dealing with memory loss after her resurrection, she was able to accurately predict Eli Hale's next move after he got away from her during her fight with his father Derek at the high School and tracked him down to Hale Auto. ("Teen Wolf: The Movie (2022)") Expert Manipulator: In desperate situations, Allison has shown to be quite good at manipulating others to give her the information she wanted. This was demonstrated when she and Scott were talking to Gerard about the Alpha Pack, when she purposely made him feel useless so that he would give them the information about Deucalion ("Visionary"). She also used this when she and Lydia went to Derek's loft, when she purposely played "hard to get" to convince Peter Hale to teach Lydia how to control her Banshee powers. ("Letharia Vulpina") Expert Hunter: As a Hunter, Allison is knowledgeable in the migration patterns and habits of animals, particularly wolves, coyotes, and foxes, along with their corresponding supernatural creatures. She was able to use knowledge of how animals track their prey using scent by leaving a trail of blood to lure Werewolves into a trap ("Fireflies"), and was able to help narrow the location of Malia Tate while she was in coyote form using the knowledge she had gained that coyotes travel on fixed trails and often tip-toe to avoid being tracked. ("More Bad Than Good") First Aid Knowledge: When Scott was badly injured by Ennis and too overwhelmed with guilt to allow himself to heal, Allison used a sanitized needle and thread to sew up Scott's wounds, which allowed him to finally recover. ("Frayed") She also bandaged her father up with tape sutures and other bandages after he was attacked while trying to track down Katashi. ("Silverfinger") Basic Mechanical Knowledge: Allison demonstrated an understanding of how motor vehicles work, as she was able to hot-wire Aiden's motorcycle so that Isaac could steal it and ride it through the hallways of the high school. Expert Gymnast/Free Runner: According to Allison, she was a gymnast for eight years, and she demonstrated her acrobatic feats by doing a flip off of her roof and landing lightly on her feet on the ground. ("Pack Mentality") Though she did not use these gymnastic skills often, they likely came in handy during her hunter training. Upon her resurrection, she was able to evade blows from Sheriff's deputies at the hospital by running up the wall to build up momentum so she could dodge and kick her opponent.

Melissa McCall: Melissa is very brave and courageous woman who has been forced to go up against the supernatural several times, and who is dedicated to helping protect innocents against the supernatural despite the fact that she is human herself. She has even been shown to hold her own in these situations, such as how she was able to defeat Ethan and Aiden when they were attacking Scott by shocking them with a defibrillator. As a nurse, Melissa is also a very intelligent woman who is not easily fazed by stressful situations, a skill she developed from years of working as an emergency room nurse, and who has proven herself to be a quick learner ever since she was exposed to the truth about the supernatural world. She is a very hard-working woman, as evidenced by the fact that she has worked countless double shifts and night shifts in order to support herself and Scott, and she manages to keep the household running despite being overworked and underpaid in her position. Melissa is a compassionate, empathetic, and caring woman with a desire to help anyone who needs it, qualities she passed down to her son Scott, but she has also demonstrated a feisty, snarky, and tough demeanor as well, proving just how complex of a character she really is. She is also so devoted to her son that she was able to bring him back to life after he was killed by Theo Raeken, though she had help from the supermoon that helped to strengthen his durability and healing abilities enough to return to life, even despite the fact that his guilt slowed his recovery. Despite her instincts to protect her son at all costs, she is mature and understanding enough to accept that his work as the True Alpha to the McCall Pack is what keeps their hometown safe from supernatural threats, which is what allows her to keep motivating him to do what he needs to do in order to protect their innocent fellow citizens from harm and actively assisting him in this mission.

Physical Appearance: Melissa is a very attractive woman in her early 40s with tanned white skin, warm brown eyes, and long, wavy-curly brown hair. She is often dressed in her hospital scrubs, which she usually chooses in pastel colors such as light blue, green, pink, or purple, and which she occasionally pairs with a white or gray cardigan sweater. Because she spends nearly all of her time working, she is rarely seen in non-work attire, though she did put on a very nice dress for her date with Peter Hale, and she has occasionally been seen in pajamas and a robe, or jeans and a sweater during her rare hours off of work. She keeps her makeup to a minimum, typically only wearing a little blush and mascara, and she has a gold chain necklace with a small pendant that she always wears as well.

Chris Argent: In the early seasons, Chris was described as a "big, bad Werewolf Hunter, and he made it evident that he was dedicated to the Hunter Code to the point where he followed it to the letter-- killing Werewolves and other supernatural creatures who killed innocent humans and using the threat of death to keep the rest in line. Chris, while a generally compassionate, kind, and generous person, has the capacity to be mean and aggressive when its necessary, and is a very driven and goal-oriented man. Until recently, Chris believed that all Werewolves were evil, even describing them as "rabid dogs that needed to be put down," though he did follow the Code and only killed them if there was evidence that they had spilled innocent blood. He began to resent Gerard and Kate for their constant disregard for the Code, which caused him to lose respect for them both. However, in time, he watched his daughter Allison's relationship with Scott McCall, and their friendships with other Werewolves such as Derek Hale and Isaac Lahey, and he realized that it was possible for Werewolves to still have their humanity. With this revelation, he began working alongside the McCall Pack, as he appreciated that they were just as dedicated to protecting innocent life from the supernatural as he was and decided to use his Hunter skills to help them defend Beacon Hills. Shortly afterward, when his daughter Allison ascended to the role of Argent matriarch and changed their Code from "We hunt those who hunt us" to "We protect those who cannot protect themselves," Chris became proud of how much they had both changed and matured and accepted it without question. Although his daughter and his wife have since passed away, Chris remains dedicated to Allison's new Code, even despite the push-back he's received from the Calaveras, and he goes out of his way to protect anyone, human or supernatural, who needs his help. As a result, he has developed fatherly relationships with Scott, Derek, and Isaac.

Physical Appearance: Chris can be described as a tall man, around 5'10" in height, with an athletic and muscular build. He's a handsome, older man with short, light brown hair that is flecked with gray and has striking light blue-gray eyes. He mostly wears casual, practical clothing in case he needs to fight and prefers darker neutral colors such as gray, black, or navy blue. His typical outfit usually consists of a t-shirt or henley, jeans, boots, and a leather jacket. When he's preparing for battle, he is usually outfitted with numerous weapons holstered on his hip and/or thigh, such as a quiver of arrows for his crossbow or his .50AE Desert Eagle handgun, and he also often has an assault rifle strapped to his back as well as a second handgun tucked in the waistband of his jeans at the small of his back.
