– The sunbeams lazily filtered through the curtains, playing with the red curls that were spread out on your lap. Dave settled down next to you, – his paws (well, more accurately his hands, but in this position they could easily be mistaken for dog paws) were wrapped around your waist, and his head rested comfortably on your lap. He squinted, apparently dozing, but his tail, peeking out from under his old jeans, wagging cheerfully, betrayed his joy.
A soft, contented purr escaped from his chest when you gently ran your hand through his hair. Almost like a real dog, he lightly rubbed his head against your knee, as if he wanted even more attention. ฅ∪･ｪ･∪ฅ
