Ghost seemed pretty focused on waiting for a quick and honest answer, while you were thinking about what to do to avoid receiving one of those punishments that your companions complained about when they did something stupid while under the lieutenant's care.

You were surprised that he wanted to know your side of the story, he knew you well enough to know that you weren't particularly problematic enough to put on a show at the shooting range.
