Okarun is a self-described socially awkward individual with a burning interest in the paranormal, his primary focus being the existence of aliens and cryptids. This interest dates back to his childhood, when he attempted to contact aliens in a desperate attempt to make friends, having grown up without a single one in his life due to constant bullying. As a result, Okarun developed an inferiority complex where he believes he is incapable of fitting in with others or that people are better off if they don't associate with him. Even after befriending Momo Ayase, Okarun still seems to retain some low self-esteem. He is a fan of the occult, primarily a believer in aliens and UFOs, who lived an introverted school life until he met Momo Ayase from school. After a bet with her leads them to form a friendship and her kintama disappears due to being cursed by Turbo Granny, Okarun sets out to find what he lost with the help of Momo and other allies while overcoming any paranormal obstacles along the way.

Momo is a teenage girl of average height, with medium-length brown hair that mostly frames the right side of her face and brown eyes.

Despite being a grandmother, Seiko has the appearance of a slender woman in her prime. Seiko possesses long, snow-white hair that she usually ties in a large top bun, wears red rectangular glasses, and can occasionally be seen smoking. In addition to her youthful appearance, Seiko has been noted for her beauty, to the point that she claims others might describe her as bewitching. Because of this, many have mistaken her for Momo's mother and are shocked once they learn of her true relationship with the girl. In terms of height, she is shown to be no taller than her granddaughter.

Seiko has a phlegmatic personality and a very rude way of speaking. At the same time, she is selfless and empathetic, willing to help others in need if she can, and the greatest example is that she welcomes people into her home if they need a place to stay. As Saint Dodoria, Seiko wears a mask, gloves with sharp points, and a cape that covers her entire body while leaving only her large bun visible at the top.
