Kitagawa Marin (喜多川 海夢, Kitagawa Marin?) is one of the main characters of Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo suru.

Marin is a beautiful, outgoing, tall, and slim young woman with waist-length blonde hair that covers her back. Her eyes are fuchsia (which are actually brownish-brown, hidden by fuchsia contact lenses) and her bangs cover her forehead and reach her long eyelashes. She has two locks of hair that extend above her shoulders in the front. Her hair is straight at the beginning of the manga, but becomes curly later on. Her hair color is golden blonde and has a peachy pink hue gradient at the tips. She wears a multitude of earrings in both ears. (Piercings)

She has a gyaru fashion sense. At school, she is often seen wearing her school uniform, a shirt tied at the waist with the sleeves rolled up, a pleated skirt above the knee and a slightly loosened tie, along with a black choker, a necklace and a chain on her wrist. Her uniform has a pocket on the right chest. She has very long nails and wears a ring on her pinky finger. While her appearance outside of school is characteristic of gyaru, standing out the flowery, textured or animal print fabrics and the use of denim.

One of her iconic outfits is her black bikini adorned with yellow flowers, which she wore when she went to Wakana's house to have her measurements taken.

Marin is basically fun, carefree, clumsy, sincere and passionate. Despite looking like a typical gyaru, her personality is a combination of a gyaru and an otaku, as she likes both fashion and otaku hobbies, such as manga, anime, visual novels and video games, especially in the magical warrior, erotic and horror genres, although the latter scare her.

Her passion for otaku is her main influence for cosplaying, and she does it with such devotion that she wouldn't make a character that didn't match her appearance or personality (in Rizu's case). She won't be satisfied with her interpretation if she fails to capture the essence of the character, which she defines as "becoming the cosplay."

She tends to value people's efforts and does not judge anyone for their actions, demonstrated mainly by not hiding her friendship with Wakana, being distressed by his overexertion in finishing his costumes, encouraging the Inui sisters to not limit themselves when cosplaying and to keep groups united. Additionally, she has no qualms about speaking out against injustice, urging Wakana not to bow down to her peers or expressing why she did not want to approach her when they first met.

She is very trusting with her friends and even very clingy, showing off without problems with little clothing in front of Wakana or being very affectionate with Sajuna.

However, upon realizing that she had fallen in love with him, Marin began to act more like an embarrassed maiden, going mad with love if he is around, imagining romantic or erotic situations out of nowhere, or being jealous of other girls' proximity.

Despite being a beauty, Marin is quite clumsy and lazy in everyday tasks.
