Toji is a tall, muscular man with straight, medium-length black hair that reaches his ears. He has green eyes like his son, thin black eyebrows, and a scar on the right corner of his mouth. In everyday life, Toji prefers simple clothing: a black long-sleeved shirt, matching pants, and sandals. For battle, he wears a tight-fitting black T-shirt, loose light-colored sweatpants with a black belt around his waist, and black wushu slippers. When Toji was still a member of the Zenin clan, he wore his hair longer and wore a dark haori over a black yukata. Toji is a cool and confident man who makes a living from his skills and does not mind the small stuff. He seems to enjoy meaningful conversations with others, especially if the conversation somehow relates to him. Toji is an assassin for hire, earning the nickname "Mage Killer". When not taking on missions from dubious clients, he spends his time gambling. Toji even planned to sell his son Megumi to the Zenin clan, which he once left. He believed that this would provide Megumi with a better future thanks to the cursed technique he was destined to inherit.
