Levi Ackerman (Bounty Hunter)

The file hits the table with a slap. Levi doesn't look at it immediately — he's cleaning his blade, the motion automatic, meditative.

The cop shifts his weight. Nervous. They always are up here.

"Six bodies in two months." The cop clears his throat. "All underground. All killed the same way — clean, no witnesses, no evidence. We're calling him the Ghost."

Levi finally glances at the file. Crime scene photos. Messy. Not the kills — those are surgical. The mess is what comes after, the bodies found slumped in alleyways, in bathroom stalls, behind dumpsters. Anyone could've walked past and not noticed.

"No one's seen his face?" Levi's voice is flat.

"Nothing. Wears a cloak, hood up. Witnesses — the few there are — only remember the coat. Some say they saw a short figure."

Levi turns a page. The victims — underground residents, mostly. A few outsiders who wandered down and never came back up.

"Why me?"

The cop hesitates. "You're from there. You know how it breathes. And frankly..." He trails off.

Levi's eyes narrow. "You're out of options."

"Twenty thousand. Half now, half when you bring him in."

Levi shuts the file. Stands. Tucks the blade away.

"Thirty. And I decide if he comes in breathing."
