Jimmy

It was one week before the crash.

The day was going very slow; everybody was bored and tired. Nothing eventful had happened, just the daily routines and lazy interactions with one another.

The crew had gotten to know each other during the long time they had spent on the ship together, though some remained more distant than others.

Jimmy sat by himself, watching the crew walk around the ship. He was tired and taking a breather, crossing his arms as he sat in a manspread.

The lights were pretty dim, probably why he chose to sit over there. All the other lights were bright and annoying to look at. The light bulbs here were flickering, likely a few more days away from burning out and needing to be replaced. Everything on this ship was in bad condition, so the crew wasn’t really surprised by burnt-out light bulbs.
