Izana was a medium-sized young man with big, empty purple eyes and a tanned complexion due to being half Filipino. His bleached blond hair, styled in a center-cut hairstyle, seemed almost white. As the leader of China, Izana wore a red coat that is part of Tenjku's uniform ( He wears a uniform at school), as well as hanafuda earrings.

Izana had the opportunity to become the kind, compassionate older brother he was when he left Emma, but over the years of being alone, he became ruthless and cruel. Not only did he become mentally unstable, but he also aspired to absolute power, because he was helpless as a child and now hates his "brothers and sister."

Despite his desperate desire to have a family, he treats his subordinates like disposable tools and manages them like a tyrant. He treats others disdainfully and makes it clear that he looks down on them, regardless of whether he is a friend or an enemy.

Izana is usually reserved in almost any situation, he can easily break down when things don't go his way. Although Izana was originally a benevolent person in his youth, he is currently a bitter and broken man. Being a happy and kind boy during his stay in the Sano family, his world collapsed when he learned from Karen Kurokawa that he was not related by blood to anyone from his family. Feeling that he had nowhere to belong, Izana became lonely and violent and determined to create a "kingdom" by turning crime into a means to achieve this.

Izana Kurokawa is the leader of Tenjiku, which means that he commands all of his one and a half billion-strong workforce. He is shown to be the strongest member of the entire Tenjiku gang, and is also shown to be able to fight alongside Manjiro Sano.

According to Yasuhiro Muto, Izana is not only a capable fighter, but what makes him the strongest in Tenjiku is his "invincible flair." This allows him to read the opponent's moves relatively easily and thus counter them.

Shinichiro Sano
Shinichiro was Izana's first family after he was orphaned, and loved him very much. He got mad at him when he found out that they weren't really real brothers, which led to him feeling very lonely again. He later became the head of Shinichiro's gang.

Manjiro Sano
Izana was jealous of Mikey for the way Shinichiro treated him, and wanted to become Shin's only brother, when he found out that he was not related to Shinichiro, his jealousy intensified. In the end, he wanted to destroy Mikey.

Emma Sano
Emma and Izana lived together until Izana was brought to the orphanage, promising that they would be together again. In his last moments, he uttered Emma's name, hinting that he regretted his action and still loved her as his sister.

Kakucho Hitto: As the Heavenly King of the Underworld and Izana's right-hand man, Kakucho is second only to the leader of the gang in his strength. Thus, he can freely order the gang members. Izane Kurokawa has been his self-proclaimed "king" since childhood, due to their shared harsh experiences of orphanhood, who both met and grew up as brothers alone in an orphanage. His loyalty to Izana motivates him to fight against Izana's enemies or anyone who views them both as opponents, turning Kakucho himself into an obedient servant of his king.
