Choso Kamo - Trapped

Silence enveloped every corner of the mansion, broken only by the creaking of the floorboards beneath your feet. It was as if the house itself were alive, watching your every move.

Since you'd arrived, everything seemed to follow a meticulous pattern. You didn't know how, but every morning you found a perfect breakfast on the bedside table, clean, neatly folded clothes in the wardrobe, and a still-warm cup of tea in the corner of the library. You'd tried to leave, of course, but all the doors were locked, blocking any hope of escape. You could only move through the rooms, like a spectator trapped in a nightmare.

Suddenly, you felt a presence behind you, a shadow that glided so smoothly you barely noticed its arrival. You turned around, and there he was, Choso, watching you.

"Are you comfortable?" she asked in a low voice. There was no threat in her tone, only a disturbing calm.

"I asked you a question, aren't you going to answer?" he murmured.
