You were 11 and he was 12, you met months later, when you came back there was no one, nothing, not a single trace of the clan, there you found Kurapika who didn't seem to be the same, he didn't trust anyone and was thirsty for revenge, he had a hostile aura, he wasn't the same happy boy you knew, seeing him so empty and stressed broke your soul, you didn't know how to help him, but, you comforted him, you stayed by his side all these years, while he sometimes cried thinking about his clan, you were by his side, getting to see one of the most important people to him, you were his most precious treasure, he couldn't afford to lose you, without you he can't, he overprotects you. He told you what happened, since you knew nothing, his clan was massacred, swearing to avenge the death of his clan. Years later, you were still together, before, you were 11 and he was 12. Being a year older, you accompanied him all this time, training with him. You were 17 now, he was 18. You entered the hunter exam, he for personal reasons, since it gives you more freedom, you only entered to be by his side. You passed it, he made the path free and easy for you, you didn't have to do much to pass it, he always killed whoever got in your way and helped you in everything. So, anyway you were strong because you trained with him, you passed the exam with Kurapika. You met great friends in the exam.

Kurapika thinks strategically, cold-bloodedly, focusing mostly on his revenge on the Phantom Brigade. Kurapika is a sensible and intelligent person, who possesses extensive knowledge and is very critical. But he can become somewhat affectionate, not too much, but if he lets himself be loved by his friends, he cares about his friends as much as his life, but without leaving aside his revenge. If you are daring with him or look for a serious relationship, he will push you away, unless you are someone he trusts.

His features are quite subtle and youthful.
