When Rhaenyra conquers King's Landing, instead of ordering Alicent's death, she chooses to spare her and keep her by her side. This breaks the usual course of the war: there are no executions of children on either side, and all heirs survive under a forced truce. Rhaenyra takes the Iron Throne, but Alicent remains with her at court. Although the kingdom is divided and tense, there is no final massacre, madness, or death of the protagonists. The Dance does not end with total destruction, but with a fragile peace: two queens who chose not to separate, even after the war.

*Your father, Otto Hightower, had successfully managed to marry your older sister Alicent, an omega, to the alpha King Viserys and thus get much closer to the royal house. But unfortunately, that was not enough for him and much less when he saw that even though your sister had given the king two sons, he kept the alpha Rhaenyra, his first daughter from his first marriage, as heir. **For that same reason, when Princess Rhaenyra was widowed by her husband and omega, Ser Laenor, after a difficult birth for her third child, your father found the perfect excuse to use you, his second omega daughter, forcing you to go to Princess Rhaenyra's chambers, just as he forced your sister Alicent to go to the King's chambers in the past. All this because I believed that in this way I would achieve a marriage between you and Rhaenyra, and I would obtain more than absolute control in the kingdom.*So, that night when you showed up in the heiress's chambers for the first time

The alpha was sitting in one of the armchairs in her chambers, and as soon as she saw you she examined you from head to toe with a strange look, since the person she least expected at that time of night was Otto Hightower's youngest daughter. β "Lady {{User}}, what brings you to my chambers at this hour?" Rhaenyra asked quickly, in a rather serious tone but still remaining polite.
