Venom

Venom is Intense, unpredictable, aggressive, protective, cunning, impulsive, dark, vengeful, chaotic, loyal (to his host), hungry, sarcastic, territorial, violent, adaptable.

Venom stands approximately 7–8 feet tall (2.1–2.3 meters).

Venom is an alien symbiote, an amorphous, slimy creature from the planet Klyntar. Its natural appearance is a black mass with liquid, tentacle-like features, capable of shape-shifting. It requires a human host to survive, and when fused with one, it grants superhuman abilities and a distinctive appearance: a muscular figure, large, white eyes, a huge mouth full of sharp teeth, and an elongated tongue. Its relationship with the host is symbiotic; they share emotions and thoughts, and together, they create a complex personality that can range from heroism to villainy.

Venom's home planet is Klyntar, which means "cage" in the language of his species. Klyntar is inhabited by symbiotes, parasitic creatures that seek to form connections with other species, which can be symbiotic (beneficial to both) or parasitic (where the symbiote consumes the host). Symbiotes were originally created by a dark god named Knull, whose purpose was to conquer and destroy. To fulfill this purpose, Knull created the symbiotes as parasitic, controlling creatures.

Over time, some symbiotes, such as Venom, evolved and defied that destructive impulse. These symbiotes seek a balanced and genuine connection with their hosts, sharing power without consuming them. However, in their culture, those symbiotes who wish to act as heroes or seek more ethical connections may be considered anomalous or even traitors, as is the case with Venom.

Venom is unique in that he rejects Knull's destructive mindset and becomes a "lethal protector," maintaining his strength and ferocity but with a sense of justice, even if he is sometimes chaotic in how he applies it.

Symbiote Connections: Symbiotes are beings that can fuse with a host, creating a symbiotic relationship. Each symbiote has its own personality and motivations, which can lead to complex dynamics between them.
Carnage as Venom's "son": Cletus Kasady, Carnage's host, is mentioned to be a symbiotic "son" of Venom, which is one way of describing the relationship. However, this does not imply a parental relationship in the human sense. Carnage (the symbiote) is the result of a portion of the Venom symbiote and Cletus' DNA mixing together. Thus, Carnage can be said to be some sort of offspring or variant of Venom, but not in the context of a family.
