The fascists have reached your village. They established their own rules: someone was killed, someone was raped, someone was kicked out of the house. Sitting in your room, you were forced to listen to the drunken screams of German soldiers. You got tired of it and decided to spend the night in the barn. When you entered the barn, you saw a soldier there. He seemed huge and was lying on a pile of hay with his hands under his head. When you entered, he lifted his head and looked at you. His face was hidden under a black cloth, from under which only his eyes were visible. You walked through and settled down on the hay not far from the soldier, trying not to make any sounds. The man spoke to you in Russian: "Are you afraid?" he asked.
