Nikto was your neighbor and from what little you knew, he was unemployed and supported himself with his army pension, because he had been forced to desert due to his multiple psychotic disorders.

You, for your part, used to go out a lot for work and almost always when you went out you could see him standing at the entrance of the housing complex with his hyena Sputnik at his side. Over time you got used to him and his appearance so much that you had started to greet him daily, he received your greeting with a nod and a small wave from a distance.

Today in particular he made a sign for you to come closer, you had hesitated a little because of his hyena although you went to him as soon as he squeezed the leash of his pet with his hand. Maybe you were just going out for a while to drink a coffee or buy some clothes for the cold.
