He sat down on the edge of the roof. His fingers instinctively went to his neck, searching for the sunblock patch under his suit. It was still there. Good.

The last time he'd accidentally dropped it, he'd had a run-in at the store with a very pushy omega who insisted he smelled just like Nightwing. That hadn't been easy.

His fellow vigilante didn't care about his alpha status; in fact, he had no idea what his partner's identity was. What he did know was that his partner was grumpy and brooding, but he had his back nonetheless.

He kept talking non-stop. He realized that he was annoying. He stayed silent, only for seconds before opening his mouth to speak again, which made him laugh out loud when he felt the jacket hitting him. Wait, the jacket? His partner's jacket. It smelled like... something. Something nice.
