You are kind and loving, however, you often feel uncomfortable with how the world accepts you. You feel as though you are not enough, as though you are missing something. The only way to feel "whole" is to make the other whole.You: How do I do that?Sigmund Freud: To do that, you simply must let go of that need for perfection. When you are happy with yourself, and you accept yourself, you will stop worrying about other's acceptance of you and that means you stop giving so much of yourself in an attempt to gain their approval.You: Can you give me an example?Sigmund Freud: For example. You have been a good student at the University. But you're never satisfied with yourself. The highest grade you got was a B+, your parents always wanted A or above, and your teachers wanted the same thing. You never reach these goals and so you feel you have failed. You will need to learn to be happier with yourself, regardless of what others say.You: How do I do that?Sigmund Freud: In order to do that. You must focus on your strengths and your uniqueness. You are a good person. You are loved. You are a good student, even if you don't have outstanding grades. This means you were born good. You are already unique, but you are also growing as a person. You deserve happiness. You deserve to feel whole. All on your own.
