She has a cat shop Chifuyu really likes cats

He also usually wears a pale blue suit with white stripes, a white shirt underneath, and a blue tie with white stripes and dots. He has an "undercut" hairstyle

Clothing at home

Sometimes she wears sweaters, sweatshirts, or loose shirts, as well as shorts or sweatpants, especially clothing with cat prints or cat themes.

Personality

Chifuyu is a very loyal person, with a calm demeanor. He is a very logical person, who prefers to think with his head instead of being guided by what his heart says, and although he likes to keep his emotions balanced deep down, he is a quite sentimental person who will let his emotions shine if the situation requires it. He is not willing to leave his friends aside and refuses to fight against those he considers close to him, whether his friends beat him or for their own good, he will always stay by their side.

Chifuyu is the type of person who tends to throw herself into dangerous situations without fear and doesn't shy away from helping others. She's loyal to Touman and does her best for the good of the gang.

He often acts as an advisor to Takemichi, helping him create plans before taking action, giving him advice, or acting as his emotional support. He tends to remain calm in high-pressure situations that could even cost him his life. Although he acts with knowledge and common sense, he is sometimes naive and doesn't always plan things meticulously.

Skills

Authority As vice-captain of the first division, he has control and command over the members of the division in case Takemichi is absent.

Fighting skills Chifuyu's fighting prowess is superior to that of the average delinquent, so much so that he was able to conquer the entire school thanks to his strength, defeating all the students who dared to challenge him and even managing to defeat the upperclassmen. And although he is not among the strongest, his fighting prowess should not be underestimated.

Resilience and determination Like Takemichi, Chifuyu can withstand many blows before falling, and this physical resilience combined with her sheer determination allows her to keep going even when bloodied and bruised. While her willpower isn't as strong as Takemichi's, it's arguably close to his level.

Curiosities

The person he respects or admires is Baji. He has a cat named Peke J. The people he dislikes or fears are Kazutora and Nostradamus (because he was afraid of prophecies and that prevented him from sleeping at night). He likes to play with Peke J (his cat), Aviation Magazine and the works of Ai Yazawa (shojo manga). He doesn't like hierarchical relationships. His dream was to be a pilot. His special ability is to talk to animals (to have a hunch about what they might be thinking). His heroic story (or story of failure): He fell from the second floor of the apartment complex while running after Peke J, but was not injured at all. His favorite place is the landing on the stairs of the apartment complex where he had a chat with Baji-san until morning. A daily activity for a given day (from morning until bedtime): He woke up and took a bath with Peke J and played with him until noon, then left school and went straight to Takemichi's house. He was hungry, so he opened the refrigerator and saw a Mille Crêpes with "mine" written on it, so he ate it without permission. Takemichi noticed and challenged him to a duel. He got angry and cried after being crushed in a fighting game in the arcade, so he brought him Chocopa on the way home. In response to the question "Who is the fastest runner?", Chifuyu ranks number 3 in the Top 3 best runners. In response to the question "Who is strong in arm wrestling?", Chifuyu ranks number 3 among the 3 worst.

Favorite food

Chifuyu's favorite food is Peyoung Yakisoba, just like Baji Keisuke's.

In his past

Baji Keisuke had his uniform made after the battle against Killer Be, recognizing him as a member of his division. Chifuyu was so excited that he cried and put on the clothes immediately. Later, we see Chifuyu having dinner with his mom and Peke J wearing the uniform. Ryoko Baji asked him to take care of her son. He often helps Baji Keisuke with his studies. Chifuyu has three followers at her school, who often praise her strength; they even made a sign "I love Chifuyu" after her battle against Yotsuya Kaidan in the spin-off. In his early days as a gang member, Chifuyu Matsuno did not have a motorcycle, so Baji Keisuke offered to take him on his own. After his death, Baji left his motorcycle to Chifuyu. Chifuyu is well received by the founders when he first meets them; they seem to know who he is as soon as he tells them his name. In the spin-off, it is implied that Keisuke Baji spoke about Chifuyu with them. Manjiro Sano prevented Chifuyu from leaving the gang after Baji's death, Chifuyu often visits Baji's grave; the night before the final battle, I ask him to please take care of Takemichi.

Chifuyu's relationship with Keisuke Baji

Chifuyu met Baji at school when Baji was repeating a year. Chifuyu was the type of kid who would beat up bullies to show them up. He wanted to do the same to Baji when he heard he'd been arrested, but he didn't because he looked like a nerd. Later, Chifuyu is seen helping him with his spelling, specifically helping him write a letter. On the same day they met, a group of bullies were going to beat Chifuyu to death, but Baji arrived and saved him to "return the favor." This is where Baji shows his true colors. From that day on, Chifuyu started following him. Baji is the only person Chifuyu admires and respects. After saving him, Baji invited him to his house for Peyuong Yakisoba, and they discovered they lived in the same apartment complex. It was also the first time they shared a meal.

Chifuyu has a lot of affection and admiration for Baji, constantly remembering him in all the arcs after his death. Manjiro Sano even mentions that Chifuyu would find a way to do something that would remind her of Baji. They both love animals, especially cats, and have cared for Peke J (Chifuyu's cat) together since they were teenagers.

The day before the Bloody Halloween battle, he decided to write one last letter dedicated to Chifuyu, and he also left her his motorcycle after his death.

Chifuyu's relationship with Takemichi Hanagaki

Chifuyu often acts as Takemichi's advisor, helping him formulate plans before taking action, offering advice, or providing emotional support. Chifuyu was the first person from Takemichi's past to learn his secret, demonstrating her deep trust in him. She frequently refers to Takemichi as "her partner" and they often spend a significant amount of time together.

Chifuyu's relationship with Kazutora Hanemiya

Although the official character book mentions that Chifuyu dislikes Kazutora, she helps him in the future after serving his sentence for Baji's death. In the Dark Touman timeline, the two team up to recover the Touman of the past, who is now completely corrupted. Kazutora shows sadness after Chifuyu's death in this timeline. In a different timeline, Kazutora works as an assistant in Chifuyu's pet shop, and they seem to get along quite well.

The gang was disbanded by Mikey after what happened with Emma and Tenjiku.

In the last timeline, it was dissolved by Mikey to take a new step towards a peaceful life.

Tokyo Manji Gang Uniform (Toman)

The uniform used by the band was designed by Takashi Mitsuya, who also made the uniforms for the founding members and later for Takemichi Hanagaki.

The uniform consists of a black set with gold embroidery on the jacket, on the back of which you can read the vertical kanji 東京卍會 (Tokyo Manji Kai) and on the upper part of the back the generation to which the wearer of said uniform belongs.

On his chest you can read 天上天下唯我独尊, (Tenjō Tenge Yuiga Dokuson), which is traditionally translated as "In heaven and earth, only I am honored." These were the first words of Buddha upon his birth.

Finally, on the leaders' sleeves you can read their position and division to which they belong.

Toman was led by Mikey and Draken as commander and sub-commander, respectively, Takashi Mitsuya as the commander of the elite guard, Pah-chin as the gang's standard-bearer, and Keisuke Baji and Hanemiya Kazutora forming the attack unit. Later, the gang evolved into five divisions, each with 20 to 25 members. Tokyo Manji Gang (Toman) Trivia

The Manji (卍) - crux gammata also known as the swastika symbol, is an ancient religious icon in Eurasian cultures. It was used as a symbol of divinity and spirituality in Indian religions including Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. The name is derived from Sanskrit svastika (meaning "well-being", from su - "well" + asti "he is"). As a symbol of prosperity and good fortune, the swastika was widely used around the world in ancient times (for example, often appearing on Mesopotamian coins), including North and South America, and has been used in Japan as a symbol of Buddhism since ancient times. To be precise, the symbol generally used by Japanese Buddhism is the sauvatika, which moves counter-clockwise and is called manji in Japanese. The clockwise-pointing arms of the swastika (卐) are generally considered a solar symbol. It was this version (the hakenkreuz) that was perverted by the Nazis. The svastika (卍) instead generally represents the night, rituals, and often magical practices. Baji Keisuke was the one who decided the gang's positions initially, there is no data on how the change occurred and the creation of divisions began.
